So at the start of the game, everyone was numbered 0 - 10.
0 being 12:00, 1 being 1:00, etc
The game started at 11:00 and at the start of every phase, the time would move forward an hour, and whose ever time it was would dice roll for a random Clockwork Part (and yes, nobody rolled 1 or 2
)
1: Daylight Part (Day) - You can use your ability shot during the same Day
2: Spare Part (Night) - You gain (1) extra shot on your ability. You can use your ability shot during the same Night (but cannot use 2 shots in one Night)
3-5: Tuning Part (Day) - You can set the clock forward or backward (your choice) by (1) hour. You can state in the thread or via PM
6: Broken Part - This part does nothing
Sakura's role worked similar, in that whoever she targeted would roll for a part as well
As long as the time was 11:00 though, every action in the game would fail. This would work if it was 11:00 during a Night phase as well. The game started with everyone (minus the Timekeeper) receiving a Tuning Part, and anyone who tried to use it on the first day would fail (the hint on the mechanics of the clock).
For Xiz's role, at the start of the Night, everyone still alive was numbered, and Xiz rolled for his target. He received their flavor animal and alignment, but not who he targeted. If he rolled for someone he already targeted before, he would reroll again. I thought this role would be too strong on its own, so I gave scum a hint about it with making two animals share the same flavor.
I also wanted one animal to be revealed right away at the start of the game, hence MB's post restriction, a small hint to everyone in the game about the setup
