In Osu! you can only turn off the overlay using Shift+Tab. But in other games (mainly FPS) you can toggle elements of the HUD. Instead of having to disable the entire overlay, we could create a section in settings called HUD. From there, you could have tick boxes (that are all enabled by default, obv) to disable elements such as HP, Accuracy (%), Pie-chart, Hit accuracy, Mods (if applicable), Combo, Leaderboards, etc. In addition, the key overlay option and the hit accuracy section could be moved into that area for ease-of-access.

Yes, but the most recent post was from 9 months ago, and that was rejected on the bases of a post from 4 years ago. Since more games are starting to do this, I think it would be a good idea to reconsider the rejected posts. More people might find it reasonable now than they did whenever it wasn't as common of a feature.

Edit: I was reading through the post from 4 years ago, and that post what about what should be hidden with Shift+Tab. My point with this post was that certain elements should be toggleable from the settings menu, not by pressing Shift+Tab

The post from nine months ago wasn't even marked with anything, when it probably should have been.

Look for your request if it has been already requested or marked as invalid/duplicate by using the search system.
Date does not matter.

I fail to see how this request is different from the other two that were linked in any substantial way. Both of them require a toggle, the only difference is that the original request requires you to also hit shift+tab. Ultimately they accomplish the same thing.
