My third beatmap. A song I've wanted to map for a long time, finally did it. Hope you enjoy. ;o

20/3/2009:

EDIT1: Changed the background picture to something that actually makes sense. If anyone has another picture they think would fit, just tell me, I'd be delighted to use it.
EDIT2: Did half of what Ekaru advised me to do, gonna do the other half tomorrow or something. Good night etc. Working on an easy as well! ;o
EDIT3: Made more on the Easy-Normal, finished the "new" normal-hard ending. Gonna work on Hard-Loco when I come home. I might just possibly rename them as well xD

21/3/2009:

EDIT4: Remade the bits Ekaru mentioned, renamed the maps. Normal-Hard is now Normal, Hard-Loco is now Hard and the Easy-Normal will of course be Easy. I made the Hard a bit easier now, lowered the drain a bit, same with the general difficulty. Still working on Easy. When I'm done correcting Normal and Easy, I'll be finally done with the map.

EDIT5: Around an hour later from the above (thought I was going to sleep but well, I'm not ;o) so I finished the Easy (it's short because it would be TOO MUCH repetition otherwise) and I'm pleased with it. If I upload any further it will probably be by people nazifying me because of not using proper symmetry, or because I find a better background picture. But this is how the map is going to be. If you have anything to add to that, go ahead, but I won't be making hard any easier. Well, maybe, if I get too much reactions. :U

EDIT6: Tried changing the offest as CheZDa posted, it sounds pretty good to me. I made the hitcircles bigger and removed some of the overlapping stuff on Easy, but some parts of the map is just meant to be built that way. If I don't have some kind of melody, it's not going to be fun to play anyway. Just think of my map as a challenge for the new players! :D

EDIT7: Fixed a misplaced slider and edited soundthingy. ._.

EDIT8: Fixed what supergarlic posted. Lowered the difficulty, changed some of the spacing around. :3

EDIT16: Added moar whistle's in Hard and Loco.

EDIT17: So I asked Cyclone, and he wanted me to add +5 to the offset and stack less on Loco. So I did.

EDIT18: Changed spacing in Hard. It's the same everywhere now.

EDIT21: Fixed some of what JarJarJacob said (Everything on normal/hard, changed some stuff in Loco) and I also removed the spinner that vytabilus pointed out and put a slider there instead.

Normal-Hard:

You know that part with 4 spinners, one right after the others, about 1/4th of the way through? Eliminate all but the last, and replace the ones you delete with notes and such.

Then at the part where there's a lot of stacks, one right after the other, put some more space between them, funner IMO.

Now go near the end. You have two situations where you have short sliders on top of each other, and hard to see. Spread them out please.

Finally, for the very end where you have four sliders the exact same, right after each other. This is what we call, "illegal copy pasta". The first three should be, like deleted and turned into more notes and such, or at least have different designs, for crying out loud! XD

Hard-Loco:

First, consider turning the overall difficulty done by 1. Makes the map significantly easier while still being challenging and fun. Don't gotta do that though.

Second, there's a part where there are two long spinners after each other (or something like that). Delete the first, replace with notes please.

Now skip to the end. You did what you did in Normal. Please delete three of those long copied and pasted sliders, it really is boring and annoying.

Nice map otherwise.

So, I'm done with the raw work. Now comes the details, so if anyone feels like nazifying or providing a decent background picture (the current one just doesn't feel right) then I'll be glad to accept. Also if there's anything wrong with the map etc.

First of all, nice solid maps.

Got a lot of 100s in hard, offset +16 (282) sounds right for me but it could just be me.

Easy:
Increase circle size by 1?
Also a lot of the overlapping stuff might be a bit confusing (@ 1:12 for example), it's supposed to be easy. :P

Yeah most of the spacing being wrong was done on purpose, it's part of the challenge of this map. You just earned a nice, fresh kudosu. ;o

I feel someone's ganna make you round that 149.99 to 150bpm sooner or later, so just do it~!

Easy-
00:37:08 (2) - level the slider (don't use grid snap to do so)
00:42:28 (1) - have it be a straight line in par from 3,4
00:43:48 (2) - either have it under completely under the fading (4) or have it not touching (4) at all
00:43:88 (1) - reduce the repeat twice and add a beat to where it used to end, or add some hitsounds
00:48:28 (5,6) - you know you can have some repeats have no hitsounds right? Please do so here

So it doesn't cause minor problems, have the kiai and audio change sections "Inherit Previous Timing" checked, instead of placing the BPM again and again.
Add more hitsounds, the ones you have already are very nice, but the sections that lack 'em are dull, even if the music stands out more.

I tried my best fixing what you mentioned, but, some things were unclear to me. Anyway, as I said, I tried my best and I hope you find it just a little better. :3

PS: According to a BPM analyzer, it's 149.99 D:

Inherit your sections please. Change bpm to 150 as well. 0.01 bpm doesn't typically make much difference, as it only results in a few miliseconds of drift, and 150 looks nicer. :P

Resnap your beats too; I've noticed a few that are slightly off. (And changing bpm will mean you have to anyways)

Some other miscellaneous notes, it's typically bad to have a timing section change right on a beat if you can avoid it. It's best to place them a little before the first beat of the section.

Easy
Seems more like a Normal.
00:44:48 (2,3,4,5) - Maybe have this overlapped with the end of the slider? Just an idea.
00:48:28 (5,6) - Maybe position these sliders differently? I always mess up here because I think they're right after each other.
01:07:48 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Same thoughts as the stack earlier.
01:10:68 (1,2,3,4) - ^
01:12:28 (4,1) - How about just killing 1 and adding an extra repeat on 4? Spacing's skewy and this was also hard to follow.
01:19:68 (1,2,3,4,5) - Same stacking suggestions as before.
01:22:88 (1,2,3,4,5) - Maybe not have 2 overlapping 1? Just another following thing.

Seems more like a Hard.

02:26:08 (1,2,3) - Ergh, ninja jump. I personally don't like it, but it's your decision.

[Hard]

00:13:08 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - Scrap this kind of spacing. It ruins it for the next pattern.
00:47:08 (9,10,11,12,13,14) - Space accordingly. Make the spacing look like that between (7) and (8).
01:11:68 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,1) - I don't really like this kind of spacing, especially when it goes with the next pattern. Reconsider.

00:42:28 (1) - Feels like this needs to be lowered a bit for making a perfect diagonal line
