random trivia: the idea for the chorus (1:00) came fully formed in my head listening to the song, weirdly inspired by the feeling I got from a scene in a book that I was reading (Mistborn, Vin sparring with Kelsier early on). the bg was the closest I could find to how that scene looks in my head.
