Mod request by Kokatsu:As I said before I like both Taiko difficulties really much, but I found some things you might want to change. Though, just suggestions from me.
[Muzukashii]
General:I recommand rather to delete these SV changes in a Muzukashii, (Old-)TNT and Taiko-Mapper don't use them in diffs lower the Oni.
Notes{
00:45:929 (1) - to 00:45:753
00:48:753 (1) - to 00:48:577
00:51:576 (1) - to 00:51:400
00:54:400 (1) - to 00:54:224
} Current place is also fine, but personaly I think in this way it might sound better. I have listen to the song and pretended the taiko sounds to be a part of the song it-self. I felt that these patterns might be to simple placed, too... straight? I mean, it's okay, but maybe the way I'm suggetsing it is nicer for the ear to listen to. Also, I want to mention that it would fit with the upcoming part 00:56:518 -, there you mapped also on the red-lines(didn't checked them before when I suggested the move of notes). As I said, just suggestion.
01:06:224 (2) - You might want to consider moving this note to 01:04:812 - so you would follow your overall mappin-system.
{ 01:13:812 (1,1,2,1) - Okay, I listened really briefly to it and I want to point something out.
01:11:695 to 01:13:459 - You got here a normal switch from kat to don(dkdkd(2/4)) which fit's really good, but unfortunaley the upcoming kats dosen't fit that well in my opinion. 01:13:812 (1) - This kat could be counted as an... 'overuse'? In other words, we don't have anymore the normal
dkdkd-sequence. This time it got one more kat at said place, which makes it sound unlineal(not nice for ear). To prevent this, you could use at 01:13:812 (1,1,2,1) - d d k d, so you would have from 01:14:518 to 01:17:695 a similiar beat to (4/4), d k d k d k d
tl;dr: If you are going to use it as I suggested, you would have the same pattern-squence at 01:10:636~01:13:106 and 01:13:459~01:17:342. The difference would be just the density of don and kats(
first part dddkdkdk,
second part d d d k d k d k).
} Ask me in IRC if I said it weird.
01:25:812 (5,9) - Maybe delete these two notes, so you would have a 1/1, 1/2 and 1/4 beat from 01:24:753 to 01:29:518. Nice 'acceleraiting'? Would also keep the overuse of dons low in this section.
[Oni]
00:04:636 (3,4,1,2,1,1,1) - I listen to this part, and mabye having a
k k d d k would be more accurated to the beat? Because of the sequence of don and kats.
00:10:283 (2,1) - This one is fine, but just mentioning that
k d would be also possible. Same reason as above.
00:25:283 (1) -
kat would advisable, because without it would have a little strange connection to 00:23:695 (1,2,3,1) - . (Oh, you also used that at 00:27:930 (1,2) - )
00:36:224 (1,1,1) - Hm... the two paared kats appear this time a bit earlier. It might be not the best solution, but how about
ddk...? I don't want to change too much here.
00:42:577 (3,1,2) - Similiar here... it does actually fit to the high pitch of the song, but to the beat it is kinda strange. You know the beat is the main sound, so maybe just use
ddk here?
00:45:930 (1) -
I refere to the Muzukashii where I explained the same case before.{
00:56:518 - Uh... to be honest Kokatsu, I think this can be done better by following the beat more and using redlines. Does this sounds okay to you:
Of course this can be implemented into the upcoming parts as well.
01:03:577 - And this part could be made like this:
(though, it's pretty simple. Maybe just map it similiar to the parts we had before)
}
01:08:871 (3) - How about a
kat? emphaszing vocal and keeping patterns a bit more lineal if possible.
01:09:753 (2) - Maybe the same here?
Kat01:11:518 (3) - k? k d d d D, the D seems a bit weeker with the dons we had before.
01:18:753 (3) - Same as before.
kat?01:22:812 (3) - ^?
{
01:25:283
01:27:047
} might consider a don, though it's not necessary. Suggesting just because of vocal and transition to upcoming mass-patterns.
01:48:224 (2) - Having a kat here would probably fit? Because it seems like we have something like a 'kat-gap' here.
So yeah, it seems like it is much, but in generally I just wrote more as usual since I tried to listen carefully to the song.
If you are going to use my suggestions or not is up to you.
Sorry for the late mod and good luck to you guys.
Hope I could help you. Have a Star from me.
