Diff names are reflecting of the layers of the atmosphere.

Exosphere and Moody's Mesosphere are 2020/2021 diffs. The others are 2014.

Really nice map first off! but there are some things worth mentioning.

Timing is kinda off for me. Maybe get Charles445 for Timing Check!

00:17:650 (6,7,8) - These are really nazi things to be noted here. Try to make more room between sliders as such, because this is mostly considered an aesthetic issue. We really didn't have these problems back in 2011.
00:20:850 (5,6,7) - Same here. The ends of the sliders are even overlapping and also, it'd feel a bit less squeezed if pumped with air!
00:22:750 (5,6) - Ok, this one is even closer. The blanket really loves (6) apparently. A bit too much though!
00:38:850 (2,3) - Again, a bit too close. This is just nazi stuff, but (unfortunately) important nazi stuff.

To everyone who read this (I dunno why you should), THIS is original mapping style.
Creativity has never been this enjoyable in 2014/late 2013.

  1. I believe that quality of your BG can be improved. It may take some time to edit the picture, or to look for a better one or you can post here. Either way, I believe that the BG can and should be improved.
  2. Please, open your .osu files and set AudioLeadIn to 1500 or 2000. So, players will have some time to get ready.
  3. Pure-black combo colour may blend with dimmed BG which will not look good and may trouble some players who dim their backrounds. Just use a dark-gray one instead.
  4. Please, disable the widescreen support in all diffs. This thing keeps enabling itself for no reason.
  5. Adding collab (and perhaps collaboration, as well) to the tags would be nice since you have a guest collab from the twins.
[Troposphere]
  1. Try to test it with AR 3,5. Some of the patterns like 00:12:840 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - become a bit more understandable and it matches better with your fast slider velocity/distance spacing values.
  2. 00:22:440 (1,2) - for those, who have disabled the "snaking sliders" feature, such sliders may get a bit confusing. Since their tales are so close to each other, some newbies may get confused and hit (2)'s tail. I've seen that a few times, beginners are just clicking nearest objects around them. To avoid that confusion, you might want to use something like this.
    Note: it may take some time to fix the patterns afterwards, but I believe that it will make the diff intuitively playable for every beginner
  3. 00:38:440 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6) - at this patternn, you have 14 circles in a row, and clicking them all may become an accuracy-killer for the beginners.I would consider replacing 00:44:840 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - with two (repeated) 1/1 sliders. Give it a chance!
    Note: 01:12:040 (3,4,5) - 01:15:240 (4,5,6) - you might want to do the same thing here.
  4. 01:40:040 (2) - minor - the circle is placed in a way, so it gets overlapped with a HP Bar. You might want to move it down a bit to make the map look neater.
    Note: 01:43:240 (1) - please, don't bite me for pointing this little thing again, I really believe that moving them down will help you to improve the diff a bit.

[Stratosphere]
  1. AR 5,5 should match nicely with your high SV and DS. Apply this only if you have changed AR on the Troposphere diff.
    Note: reducing OD to make 3/4 patterns like
  2. 00:22:440 (1,2) - minor - the transition form (1) to (2) feels rather forced and maybe unnatural. I tried to improve them and came up with this idea. See if you like it or not. :)
  3. 00:43:240 (3) - have not seens a slider with such shape for ages, it looks perfect! ♥
  4. 00:48:840 (2,4) - minor - slightly noticeable overlap with the HP-Bar again. It is not a big deal, but you can improve them and turn into blanket-sliderswhich would look even better.
  5. 01:32:840 (1,2) - a rare case when creativity is easy-to-play and looks amazing, love it. ♥
  6. 01:52:040 (10,1) - in special modes (mania and taiko mostly) this 1/4 will get noticeable and may trouble players. Please, start the spinner at the red tick or at 01:52:440. This way players in all modes won't have any roblems with such patterns.
    Note: you have no specific o!m/taiko diffs, so, players will play standrad diffs in their modes. Therefore, thy will have a hard time trying to understand the pattern here.

[Twin Thermosphere]
  1. Try to increase HP by 0,5. So, the spread and the diff itself will get more balanced and it will fit pretty nice with the rest of the mapset.
  2. 00:11:440 (1) - mnor -the curve of this slider is a bit too rough. Try to make it a bit smoother? Example
  3. 00:27:640 - 00:29:240 - placing circles on those beats would create really interesting-to-play doubles and help you to keep the polarity. Which makes the diff more playable, after all. Give it a try and see if you like it or not.
    Note: 00:53:240 - pretty similar thing happens here. // The star rating of the diff is a bit low, so using thouse doubles will make it higher and therefore, make the spread feel slightly better-balanced.
  4. 00:47:640 (3) - the second reverse here is sorta unexpected since the previous slider (00:47:240 (2) - ) had just one repeat. I'd go with two simple 1/4 sliders, instead. example.
  5. 00:58:240 (2,3,4) - minor - just a friendly reminder that the sliders can blanket (3). Looks a bit better, huh? :)
  6. 01:21:940 (2) - minor - curvin this slider in the opposite direction would create a cute zig-zag flow. Example. Nothing wrong with your pattern, but the zig-zag should flow better, at least in my opinion.

    Just a few things I would like to improve. Everything else looks great!
[Exosphere]
  1. I'd go with OD 7,5. 8 feels a bit too much for this song, in my opinion.
  2. 00:06:440 (1,2,4,5) - there is no such thing as too many crosses! ♥
  3. 00:49:240 (9,10) - isn't that combo a bit too long? I think that a new combo at (9) or (10) might help you to keep comboing more regiular and it will also make sense with the music.
  4. 00:52:540 (5) - most of such sliders had just one repeat and the second repeat feels unexpected and forced for that reason. Mind removing it and replacing with a circle? Example
  5. 00:54:840 (5,6) - select them and press Ctrl+G. It will swap them on the timeline, which will give you a better-matching pattern. See if you like it, and if you do - don't forget to fix the DS!
  6. 01:16:240 (11,12,13,14,15,16,17) - mind replacing the last two circles with a slider? This will keep your combo on a reasonable length since 17 is just a bit too much, at least to me.
    Note: 01:26:440 (17) - same here. You really like long combos, don't you?

    Some of new combos seeem to be too long, aparty from this, it is a really amazing diff!
What am I supposed to say? I don't really have any comments left, the map is really cool.

I actually think this difficulty is hard enough, it already includes a bit too much 1/4 for my taste so I won't add these ;w; I think doubles only make sense in Hard diffs when both circles actually follow the same instrument, otherwise it sounds a bit forced just to keep the polarity. It's better to only follow the main instrument for these patterns. Also, the polarity issue itself is not a big deal imo, since the spacing indicates it and also the following object is always a slider so the accuracy won't drop if you click a bit earlier.

the image is png because losslessly compressed png ends up being smaller than max quality jpg for this image



and png is a lossless format, so it's a win-win

Also strange names for the maps, but I guess it's from one of these games where you fly up as high as you can by upgrading stuff. :D


[Troposphere]
For a normal map, this one has a really high slider speed. I normally don't go higher than 1.40SV in normals. I guess the low CS and AR may make up for it, but still... I#d prefer a lower one here.

  1. (!) Your NCing is a bit worrysome to me at some spots. When you got multiple longer sliders in a row, for example 00:27:240 (1,2,3), you sometimes don't place a NC in 3-4 measures. That's a bad thing, because when a player sliderbreaks at one of these sliders he will loose a huge amount of HP, but he hasn't got a chance to get it back because it takes a long time until the next NC appears. That's why I'd recommend you to go through the map again and add some NCs where a single combo covers a huge time.
  2. 00:44:840 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Beginners aren't really used to many circles in a row anymore, and since you already have a huge amount of circles with 2/1-gaps before, it might be better to replace these by repeated sliders like this: http://puu.sh/aXO5r/d1d278ca76.jpg
  3. 00:49:640 (2) - The strong sound played by the main instrument that starts at 00:49:640 ends at 00:50:440, so I'd prefer the slider to end there too. A 4/1-slider doesn't sound fitting to me at this point. Maybe you could use this rhythm: http://puu.sh/aXOxh/42c527ea68.jpg
  4. 01:23:240 (1,2,3) - Kind of minor, but a perfect triangle might look better here, since it's almost one already. If you select (2) and (3) and move them around 410|40, it will be perfect and still have the axis-parallelism for (2) and (3), like this: http://puu.sh/aXOMc/b4c3f078c0.jpg Don't forget to mirror it for the other side as well if you change this.
  5. 01:40:840 (3) - For a similiar reason as 00:49:640, I'd prefer this to end at 01:42:040 and then to add a circle at 01:42:440. A nice placement would be this: http://puu.sh/aXOYb/51e753f4bf.jpg But you would have to rearrange the patterns afterwards a bit to fix the spacing.

  1. What I said in Easy about NCing applies for this difficulty as well.
  2. 00:00:040 (1) - For a Normal, it's recommended to have more than a 1/1-gap of rest after spinners, so I'd let this one end at 00:04:840 like in the Troposphere difficulty :3
  3. 00:11:440 (1,2,3) - (!) This will be really confusing for most Normal-players. The spacing before (1) looks like an 1/1-gap, and also the blue tick rhythm is very hard to understand for a Normal. Best solution would be to use a repeated slider, spaced out regularly. https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1940702 Following patterns would have to be rearranged though.
  4. 00:23:240 (2,3) - The spacing between these is really low, and again the player might think it's a smaller gap because of that. There is a really simple solution: Use ctrl+J on the whole section between 00:24:040 and 00:37:640. It won't mess up any patterns but instead it will fix this one: http://puu.sh/aXPuU/e2199b6607.jpg
  5. 00:44:840 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - (!) I already mentioned that beginners aren't used to many circles in a row, so this will definitely throw them out. Again, my recommendation is to implement some sliders into this pattern. For example, you could change 00:45:640 (4,5) and 00:47:240 (9,10) to sliders, because it would fit nice with the main instrument's hold sound. NOTE: There are similiar patterns in this difficulty, but I think they are fine, because they are not as long / don't include as many triplets. If you want to make them easier you can also add some NCs where they make sense, so players can miss some of the circles without failing.


  • Exosphere
  1. I'm not really a friend of the very long combos here. You usually start a new pattern every big white line, so placing NCs on the big white lines wouldn't hurt the map at all imo. It would just give the map more structure imo. Also, if the drain is the reason why you want less NCs, you could set it to HP 8 or something and place them.
  2. 01:12:840 (12) - It would be much more intuitive if this slider had one repeat less and the stream started at 01:13:240. The reason is consistency with 01:06:440 (12,13,1) and 01:19:240, for example. I recommend you to change this, because most modern players will break / miss here, since they will release the slider / start tapping too early.

You know how much I love your diffs :D I made this mod to help this set a bit ;w; I hope it helped, although it was quite short, but this is already really perfect, so there is not much to point out!

it plays well and wery clear, but i think there is to many circles - its easiest diff after all, you can replace some of them with sliders
like this combos 00:12:840 (1,2,3) - they repiting often, mb change to slider+circle sometimes (lol so many people already told about "too many circles"))
00:57:640 (1,2) - mb they a litle too close

normal-

00:11:440 (1) - move a litle to the left , to place it in the centre
this long sliders 00:14:440 (4) - mb add some anchors (red dots) in the middle of them to allocate the blue tick beat
00:36:840 (5) - sounds like good place for spinner to me
00:44:840 (1,2,3) - weirdest part of the map and in the end it repeats (01:48:840 (1,2,3) - ) in the song there is a blue tick beats and this triple circles is become hard to click. mb change this for somthing more suitable?
but in this place its sounds and plays well : 01:07:240 (1,2,3) - and especialy this one 01:13:640 (1)
