Welcome to the 2nd edition of the RDOC [Royal Danish Osu!Cup] - 2016!

After a Super Succesful tournament in 2014, some other Danish players and I have decided to yet again make a tournament!

1. How does it work?

This is the 2nd Danish Tournament ever to be held. You're free to sign up if you are from Denmark.

2. General Information/Rules

  1. The tournament will start on the 9th of January 2016. Games will be played through weekends only!
  2. This is a 1v1 Tournament. Danish players only!
  3. New rules might be added on the go, so please check this thread frequently. Any changes will be notified to the players.
    Be nice to each other. Remember that we're all doing this for the fun! Doesn't mean we don't do this for the prices either though.

3. How do I register?

4. Match Information/Rules

  1. In the first stage (Group Stage), the players will be divided into 8 groups of 4 players.
  2. All the players from each group will face each other.
  3. Rankings of each group are determined by sorting the results of each player's performance in the following priority:
    • 1. Most matches won.
      2. Have higher {(the number of maps won) - (the number of maps defeated)}.
      3. Most maps won.
      4. Have higher ∑{(total score difference) / (maximum score)}.
      5. Winner of the rematch.
  4. The top 2 players of each group will move on to the Double Elimination Stages.
  5. Following stages are Double Elimination Stages. This means that the winner moves to the next stage and the losing team gets moved to the Loser bracket.
  6. Each player will select maps from a predetermined mappool to play during their match. You are not allowed to choose a map that your opponent have chosen. Ingame Rolling will decide which player has first map pick.
  7. Maximum amount of players allowed: 32
  8. If there is a disconnect or other disturbance during the match, a rematch is possible if both players agree. Do note that on the slightest notice of abuse, you will be instantly disqualified.
  9. Mayoi and [INSERT NAMES HERE] will be the referees for this tournament (Hiring more refs) They will make sure that everything goes as planned.
    When a match is won. Either the winning or the losing player will report their score to an admin. The Admin will make sure to plot it into the Bracket and make sure you find your next oppoenent.
  10. Make sure to open the match history screen when you make a multiplayer lobby. Use this to prove your wins incase someone is cheating.

Some information about the tournament as a whole.

We expected that we could have it as BO7 but decided that BO5 was more reasonable because of the time we had available.

Score V2 was also decided towards the beginning of the tournament.

Group 1 was finished today and only the last match of group 2 is missing.

We have decided to postpone the rest of the groupstages till next week!

We'll play 3 groups on both saturday and sunday the 16th and 17th. Times will be updated tommorow so please stay tuned and make sure to tell anyone who might need to know this!! That means everyone!

Hopefully this doesn't cause any inconvienence. Please message me or any of the tournament admins if you have any questions!
