14:37 -wwwww: how come
14:37 -wwwww: 00:21:747 (3,4) - this has
14:37 -wwwww: two circles
14:37 -wwwww: and
14:38 -wwwww: oh
14:38 -wwwww: were you like
14:38 -wwwww: alternating between two circles and a 1/4 slider
14:38 - Magic Bomb -: well I mean it plays the same
14:38 - Magic Bomb -: but I'll change them all to circles if you'd prefer lmao
14:38 - Magic Bomb -: it doesn't really make much sense to alternate anyway
14:38 -wwwww: personally it ticks me off but there's literally no difference
14:39 -wwwww: so it's up to you!
14:39 - Magic Bomb -: I'll do it circles just for you xoxo

14:42 -wwwww: personally i dont like
14:42 -wwwww: 00:19:439 (1,2) -
14:42 -wwwww: when
14:42 -wwwww: two sliders sound the same but play completely different
14:44 - Magic Bomb -: Hmm, didn't make them the exact same, but made 2 curved in a different way instead
14:44 -wwwww: ok
14:45 -wwwww: 00:39:219 (2) - maybe have this slider as a horizontal instead so that the 00:40:538 (1) - has a greater distance away
14:45 -wwwww: or just move the 00:40:538 (1) - pattern xd
14:46 - Magic Bomb -: done
14:46 -wwwww: 01:00:318 (3,4) - maybe make these a bit further apart... not a lot, just a bit?
14:46 -wwwww: like maybe 2 spaces
14:47 - Magic Bomb -: Yeah, done
14:47 -wwwww: sik hitsounds
14:47 - Magic Bomb -: thanks xd
14:48 -wwwww: 00:21:912 (5) - I think this looks prettier on x:320
14:49 - Magic Bomb -: yeah, done, but also moved the slider a bit to the right to keep the dash
14:50 -wwwww: alright
14:50 -wwwww: 00:38:560 (2) - maybe ctrl g
14:50 -wwwww: idk, just seems kind of weird as it is now
14:51 - Magic Bomb -: kk changed the pattern around a bit
14:52 -wwwww: 01:02:186 (2,3) - these are cool but the sound needs to be reduced a ton or it's weird
14:53 - Magic Bomb -: You mean in terms of distance?
14:53 -wwwww: no
14:53 -wwwww: volume xd
14:53 - Magic Bomb -: o xd
14:53 - Magic Bomb -: i'll sort that out when i do hitsounding i guess
14:53 - Magic Bomb -: xD
14:53 - Magic Bomb -: or whoever does it will sort it out
14:53 - Magic Bomb -: DD
14:53 -wwwww: lmao
14:53 - Magic Bomb -: fuck
14:54 -wwwww: 01:10:868 (3) - maybe make this like 01:08:230 (3) -
14:54 -wwwww: so there's more of a curve
14:54 -wwwww: damn ctb mapping sucks
14:54 -wwwww: it barely made a curve!
14:55 - Magic Bomb -: kk done
14:55 -wwwww: ok done
14:55 -wwwww: damn i should be a bn
14:55 -wwwww: ima god at modding!

Nothing.

[Salad]
00:27:351 (1,2) - These are two far away. - Reduced slightly.
00:47:791 (3,1) - ^ - I think this one is fine, because the note is strong enough to indicate a dash to me here.
01:01:637 (1) - This isn't snapped. - It's snapped to the 1/3 tick, which I think works better with the song here.

[Platter]
00:46:472 (2) - Let's tey to avoid vertical sliders. - Curved it slightly.
01:01:637 (1,2,3) - These aren't snapped. - These use 1/3 and 1/6 snaps, which I think work better for the song.

Good luck with the map. Gave a star.
Thanks for the mod!

okie dokie here we go :)

GENERAL
SPOILER
  1. You don't seem to have many tags :) I've done a little search and you could use tags for genre (like 'Electronic', 'Instrumental'), the record label ( 'Palette Sounds') I noticed you have a winter themed background, is the song related to winter or christmas at all? If so you could use these as tags as well.
  2. You could taper the sound of the spinners on the diffs to fade off when the music fades off giving a nice fade :)

CUP
SPOILER
  1. 00:31:307 (2,3) - when playing this I found that I wanted to go against the anti-flow that you have put in and carry on going left instead of right. Maybe you could turn 3,4 and 1 by 80 degrees and move the set so that 3 is on X:440 Y:192 as it seems to improve the flow a little better.
  2. 00:42:846 (3,4,1) - This slider doesn't seem to be giving the curve that is intended due to the low slider velocity. Maybe you could try to use a straighter slider to give a better effect.
00:56:362 (1) - When playing this note I found that this was the only note that was attached to the secondary melody and it seemed a bit of an oddity, you could counter-act this by maybe including more notes from this melody to give variety such as at 00:36:317 or 00:46:663.

SALAD
SPOILER
  1. 01:01:637 (1) - This slider seems weird and it doesn't really feel as though it fits as it's the only note that is mapped on a 1/3. Maybe you could just use a circle, or you could put three notes to cover all three of the sounds that are played in that small section.
  2. 01:09:713 (2) - The note sound here is really weak, when I play all I can hear is 1,3 and 4. I don't think this note is necessary to get the effect I think you're looking for.

PLATTER
SPOILER
  1. 01:02:626 (3) - This notes sounds as though it doesn't really belong here, maybe try changing it to just a single circle?
  2. One thing I have noticed is that a lot of the hypers are at the extremes of the screen making it a little difficult to play.
because I'm not very experienced in playing or mapping platters, I don't feel as though I have enough experience to mod the rest of the map.

Good Luck ^^

If so you could use these as tags as well. - Added Palette Sounds, but I think once the map gets ranked, it'll have the electronic and instrumental, so I don't need to add those.
  2. You could taper the sound of the spinners on the diffs to fade off when the music fades off giving a nice fade :) - I'll sort this out with hitsounding when I get around to it (Or get someone to do it).

CUP
SPOILER
  1. 00:31:307 (2,3) - when playing this I found that I wanted to go against the anti-flow that you have put in and carry on going left instead of right. Maybe you could turn 3,4 and 1 by 80 degrees and move the set so that 3 is on X:440 Y:192 as it seems to improve the flow a little better. - Hmm, I'd rather not change this because the reaction time is enough for the player to realise the correct movement, and also rotating this makes it play a bit weird, in my opinion, because it makes the jump to the next note very difficult.
  2. 00:42:846 (3,4,1) - This slider doesn't seem to be giving the curve that is intended due to the low slider velocity. Maybe you could try to use a straighter slider to give a better effect. - Instead tried the opposite effect, and made the slider more curved, so that it would show better.
00:56:362 (1) - When playing this note I found that this was the only note that was attached to the secondary melody and it seemed a bit of an oddity, you could counter-act this by maybe including more notes from this melody to give variety such as at 00:36:317 or 00:46:663. - I feel like the violin here is a lot stronger here than at any other point in the song, so I feel like this is fine.

SALAD
SPOILER
  1. 01:01:637 (1) - This slider seems weird and it doesn't really feel as though it fits as it's the only note that is mapped on a 1/3. Maybe you could just use a circle, or you could put three notes to cover all three of the sounds that are played in that small section. - Whilst I understand how it sounds weird, the 1/3 sound is definitely one of the stronger ones in this section, and I feel as though it's too strong to just ignore.
  2. 01:09:713 (2) - The note sound here is really weak, when I play all I can hear is 1,3 and 4. I don't think this note is necessary to get the effect I think you're looking for. - I was following the background chimes here, like I did earlier during the kiai, and it feels weird to ignore it here when I mapped it there.

PLATTER
SPOILER
  1. 01:02:626 (3) - This notes sounds as though it doesn't really belong here, maybe try changing it to just a single circle? - I can definitely here a sound both on the slider head and tail.
  2. One thing I have noticed is that a lot of the hypers are at the extremes of the screen making it a little difficult to play. - Weakened the HDashes that I could, however due to the low bpm, most hypers need to be at the extremes of the screen to avoid being normal dashes.
because I'm not very experienced in playing or mapping platters, I don't feel as though I have enough experience to mod the rest of the map.

Good Luck ^^
Thanks for the mod!

From M4M.
Cup
00:32:296 (3,4,1) - I think you should use direction change on (1) so that would fit nicely. 00:32:296 (3,4) - ctrl + g them and stack with (1)

00:37:901 (1,2) - so static pattern doesn't work well even for Cup, try to rise distance between 00:36:582 (2,3,1) - (2) x:168 (3) x:384 (1) x:64 and after changing those ctrl + h 00:39:219 (2,1,2) -

01:12:186 (1) - spinner could be 1/2 longer so it will fit the fade-out better (all diffs)

Salad

00:21:747 (3,1) - add some movement, at least x:392 for (3)

00:24:055 (4,1,2,3,1) - generally increase, now they are tooooo basic lol

00:32:296 (4,1) - this doesn't work well (and does not look good too ) try something like you did here 00:21:747 (3,1) -

00:52:736 (4,5,1) - The stream isn't necessary here I think, could be if you delete (5) and make jump on (4-1)

00:55:703 (4) - slider should be faster, now it

01:00:978 (4) - maybe x:320?

Platter

00:28:011 (2) - would flow better if you just ctrl + g it

your hyper dashes placement here is weird :o

Thats all from me now

01:12:186 (1) - spinner could be 1/2 longer so it will fit the fade-out better (all diffs) - Yeah, done.

Salad

00:21:747 (3,1) - add some movement, at least x:392 for (3) - x:376 instead.

00:24:055 (4,1,2,3,1) - generally increase, now they are tooooo basic lol - The notes here are generally weak, so I don't want to overemphasise them.

00:32:296 (4,1) - this doesn't work well (and does not look good too ) try something like you did here 00:21:747 (3,1) - - Tried curving it slightly.

00:52:736 (4,5,1) - The stream isn't necessary here I think, could be if you delete (5) and make jump on (4-1) - I've been mapping the chimes the entire way through the map, feels weird to ignore them during the strongest part of the song.

00:55:703 (4) - slider should be faster, now it - The slider speed to me as it is now feels better.

01:00:978 (4) - maybe x:320? - x:272, increasing it anymore than this feels weird, considering the lower strength on this note.

Platter

00:28:011 (2) - would flow better if you just ctrl + g it - This feels good to me how it is now, and adds more variety in patterns.

your hyper dashes placement here is weird :o - The hypers are to strong chimes or high pitched violin sounds, which I feel fits the song very well, honestly.

Thats all from me now

This is a m4m. c:

General
  1. Everything seems pretty good to me.

Cup
Opening thoughts: Plays really simple and smooth. c:

Song Setup Recommendations: none

Closing Thoughts: Nothing really to point out. Only thing I can recommend is maybe increasing the distance a bit on some notes but since this is a cup this isn't needed so nothing here really. Good job.

Salad
Opening thoughts: Good salad, not much here to point out either.
  1. 00:48:450 (1) - Would recommend moving to x:152. The jump feels a bit weird so I would reduce it a bit so it feels better.
  2. 00:57:681 (2) - Move to x:64. This is a screen jump, and although it is a low bpm and easy dash. Screen jumps always feel weirdly forced to me so i would reduce this a bit to be more easy on Salad players.
  3. 01:01:637 (1) - I see what you are going here but I thought I would point it out that this may need to be changed as it does seem a bit weird. 1/2 might work best here but get other opinions.
Song Setup Recommendations: none
Closing Thoughts: Everything seems pretty good here, dashing seems a bit odd but it's only because the bpm. Nice work

Platter
Opening thoughts: Nice flow. I like it c:
  1. 01:02:186 (2,3,4) - This part seems really weird. Just thought i would mention it.
Song Setup Recommendations: none
Closing Thoughts: Not much to point out here except the fact the one part where I pointed out seems really weird to the ears but since I don't have a good suggestion to fix I can only point it out sadly. :c

There wasn't much to say on this. This set is pretty polished and well done. I hope this mod was helpful. If you have questions feel free to message me in-game if you see me on, or message me via forum. Good luck with this set. :)

  1. 01:02:186 (2,3,4) - This part seems really weird. Just thought i would mention it. - Not gonna change it, but I'm hoping the hitsounding should make this feel better, as it should make the notes feel more natural. I don't know for sure, but I feel as though it will.

Hi, I've just done hitsounding your difficulties. Sorry for being so late but I hadn't had time before. :< However, now I do so I've hitsounded it. It was really quick to be honest. XD Also, I'm dropping a few suggestions. o/

General
  1. I think you should change the offset to 14177 so it's not too early in most cases in this map.
  2. How about you end the spinners here 01:16:143 - instead of where it ends now so it follows the fading process? However, if you really want to keep it as it is now, I'd recommend you end sliders on 01:16:527 - so it's even more accurate. o/ I've used 1/12 beat divisor if I remember correctly. (I've made it with the accurate offset not with mine).
  3. The colours are very extreme and not very balanced when it comes to the differences between the shades and the darkness and the brightness level. What I'm saying is you could try to make it less contrast and more similar so it's not that eye killing. xD So I believe *SOMETHING LIKE THIS* would improve the design and if you agree you might happen to change it to something similar or to my example. If the second option is what you want, I am leaving the code for the colours below in the box called "KOLOROWE KREDKI".
*HITSOUNDED MAPS*

General
  1. This is not usual, but about combocolours the brown is for the trees? those trees seem almost like green for the light, something like [65,100,30] it's better i think
  2. Nothing else, really nice map, specially the hitsounds

Cup
  1. 00:21:924 (4) - 00:32:473 (4) - 00:43:023 (4) - 00:53:572 (4) - 1/4 notes in cup? aaaa i understand that is 91 of bpm but stilllll, it's not necessary to follow these sounds at 100%, if you remove these 4 notes, the rhyhm will be perfectly simple, pleaaaseeee
  2. 00:22:089 (1,2,1) - The difference of sounds is impossible to perceive here, i suggest put 00:24:067 (2) - more close to 00:24:726 (1) - to do distances according to the music
  3. 00:24:726 (1,2,3,1) - Same here, the distances are feels the same in game ): please do these distances more visible, something like this:
  4. 00:33:957 (2,3,1) - 00:35:275 (1,2,3) - 00:44:506 (2,3,1) - 00:57:693 (2,3,1) - Same in these ))): do distances more visibles! come on, currently is so symmentrical
  5. 01:00:330 (2,1) - The strogest sound of the music, i think a bit more distance feels better
  6. 01:05:935 (2,3,4,1) - Mh, the same notes as the salad and platter aaaa, i think feels really much better without 01:05:935 (2,4) -
  7. 01:08:242 (2,3,1) - As above, but here is the same distance ): heee, 01:09:561 (1) - this sound is definitely more strong, with a position like x160 fits better and is more fun (yeah cups are fun for meee)

Salad
  1. 00:14:176 - 00:51:100 - Before the kiai there are few dash, and it's fine because is a salad, but 01:01:649 - after it there are a lot ): i think will be better without 01:04:286 (1) - , thats not enough strong in comparision to the rest
  2. 00:23:407 (3,4,1) - 00:28:682 (2,3,1) - Same distances again? aaa please add a bit more distance to these (1) considering the strength of the sound
  3. 00:43:187 (1,2,3) - And here more distance to 3? (and maybe less to 00:50:440 (3) - ) for same reason
  4. 00:57:693 (2,3) - Really the sound in (3) deserves more distance, is not sooo diferent to (2) and that also has a dash lol

Add a platter here is just too evil ):
  1. 00:26:045 (4,5) - Not a dash, but please add a bit more distance, is almost unnecessary move the Ryuuta to catch the head of (5) , same in 00:28:682 (3,4) - 00:49:781 (3,4) - 00:56:374 (1,2) -
  2. 00:55:056 (3,4,5) - Same distances again aaaa, add a bit more to (5), is little stronger
  3. 01:01:649 (1,2,3) - I do not agree with this, with the "hit" is just so hard to listen the real sound of that notes and more with the whistle in 01:02:308 - , i suggest use a normal 1/2 slider as the Salad, if you want to keep this, at least reduce the volume, like 01:02:198 - 30% 01:02:638 - 20% (yeah with 20 is possible to listen both, obviously 40% again since 01:02:968 - )

nice

  1. 00:21:924 (4) - 00:32:473 (4) - 00:43:023 (4) - 00:53:572 (4) - 1/4 notes in cup? aaaa i understand that is 91 of bpm but stilllll, it's not necessary to follow these sounds at 100%, if you remove these 4 notes, the rhyhm will be perfectly simple, pleaaaseeee - Removed all except the one in the kiai, I think that one's fine because the kiai calls for slightly stronger movements.

  4. 00:33:957 (2,3,1) - 00:35:275 (1,2,3) - 00:44:506 (2,3,1) - 00:57:693 (2,3,1) - Same in these ))): do distances more visibles! come on, currently is so symmentrical - Fixed a few, but not all, only the ones I agreed with.
  5. 01:00:330 (2,1) - The strogest sound of the music, i think a bit more distance feels better - Yeah I agree, fixed.
  6. 01:05:935 (2,3,4,1) - Mh, the same notes as the salad and platter aaaa, i think feels really much better without 01:05:935 (2,4) - - I'd rather keep to mapping the strong violin songs, it's only 1/2 at 91bpm anyway.
  7. 01:08:242 (2,3,1) - As above, but here is the same distance ): heee, 01:09:561 (1) - this sound is definitely more strong, with a position like x160 fits better and is more fun (yeah cups are fun for meee) - Increased distance but not that much.

Salad
  1. 00:14:176 - 00:51:100 - Before the kiai there are few dash, and it's fine because is a salad, but 01:01:649 - after it there are a lot ): i think will be better without 01:04:286 (1) - , thats not enough strong in comparision to the rest - Done.
  2. 00:23:407 (3,4,1) - 00:28:682 (2,3,1) - Same distances again? aaa please add a bit more distance to these (1) considering the strength of the sound - Done.
  3. 00:43:187 (1,2,3) - And here more distance to 3? (and maybe less to 00:50:440 (3) - ) for same reason - Done.
  4. 00:57:693 (2,3) - Really the sound in (3) deserves more distance, is not sooo diferent to (2) and that also has a dash lol - Increased distance.

Add a platter here is just too evil ):
  1. 00:26:045 (4,5) - Not a dash, but please add a bit more distance, is almost unnecessary move the Ryuuta to catch the head of (5) , same in 00:28:682 (3,4) - 00:49:781 (3,4) - 00:56:374 (1,2) - - Done.
  2. 00:55:056 (3,4,5) - Same distances again aaaa, add a bit more to (5), is little stronger - Done, but not too much because the back forth would be too difficult for a platter if I do much more.
  3. 01:01:649 (1,2,3) - I do not agree with this, with the "hit" is just so hard to listen the real sound of that notes and more with the whistle in 01:02:308 - , i suggest use a normal 1/2 slider as the Salad, if you want to keep this, at least reduce the volume, like 01:02:198 - 30% 01:02:638 - 20% (yeah with 20 is possible to listen both, obviously 40% again since 01:02:968 - ) - Did the hitsounding suggestion.

nice
Thanks for the mod!

Huh, a short, slow song with an easy spread pattern from MB, never seen one of those before...

General Comments:

  1. Song Folder: No issues
  2. Song Setup: Combo colours are way too contrasting with the BG imo, I'd go for something like this:
SPOILER
Combo1 : 135,135,135
Combo2 : 50,50,255
Combo3 : 70,100,60
Combo4 : 80,255,255
Also look at this edgy kid, CS 2.6/3.3/4 (^:
  1. Metadata: You could add some more tags, such as "instrumental", "ambient", "relaxing", "chill"
  2. Timing: No issues
  3. Hitsounds: soft-hitclap.wav has a length of only 28ms which is unrankable - hitsounds must be at least 100ms long to prevent issues with soundcards as stated in the ranking criteria. Also, soft-hitfinish.wav has almost 2 seconds of null audio at the end of the waveform, which is taking up unnecessary space in the song folder. Please fix these
  4. AImod: No issues
Difficulty-Specific Comments:

Cup
  1. 00:43:187 (1) - Low SV makes attempts at C-shaped sliders look really awkward, and in this case you have something that looks like "]" which doesn't look to good with the flowing nature of your patterns in this diff. Recommend a similar slider to 00:53:737 (1) where the effect works much nicer
  2. 00:58:352 (3) - Since we're in the kiai, you can definitely afford to give some more spacing to this, say x-256
  3. 00:59:012 (1,2,1) - ^ (2) to x-240 considering 01:01:649 (1) is the strongest beat in the song
  4. 01:05:935 (2,4) - Why did you decide to use 1/2 here outside the kiai when you didn't in the first half of the song? I'd remove these, since you currently have a sizeable 1/2 beat rhythm for weaker background sounds that feels out of place with the rest of the map
  5. 01:08:242 (2) - This could do with more spacing, it's arguably stronger than 01:08:902 (3,1)
  6. 01:10:880 (2) - I expect this to be on the right hand side due to previous pattern flow and the placement of (3,1). Even if you don't move notes to the left with the above suggestion, I recommend Ctrl+H'ing this
Salad
  1. 00:19:451 (1,2,3,1) - First three slider patterns all go from right to left, recommend reversing (2) and respacing for variety
  2. 00:30:001 (1) - Dash would be nice here to emphasize the first "strong" downbeat
  3. 00:33:957 (3) - Expecting more movement to this for the strong sound, recommend separating into 1/2 slider and circle as you did at 00:44:506 (3,4)
  4. 00:33:957 (3,1) - If you separate you could put a dash between the above, but regardless of that, (1) definitely needs a dash
  5. 00:36:594 (3) - C-shaped slider is functioning like a messy vertical at the moment due to low SV - rotating this anticlockwise would look and play better
  6. 00:43:187 (1) - ^ or you could use a burai node to make more of a curve here
Platter
  1. 00:25:385 (2,3) - Distance here forces a weird stop-tap-change direction which breaks the flow for me. I'd either increase the spacing between (2,3), or move the direction change back to there so the distance is less important, e.g Ctrl+H 00:25:385 (2,3) - if you reduce the spacing to 00:26:704 (5) accordingly I think this plays really nicely
  2. 00:37:913 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - Zig-zag left, right, left again... Cmon, we need some more variety here. I'd Ctrl+H 00:39:891 (4) to emphasize the lowered pitch here. You'll need to flip 00:40:550 (1,2,3) as well and rejig to get some decent spacing back
  3. 01:10:880 (3) - Either increase the SV on this, make it a burai or do something else here because this curve is not the curve you probably intended it to be lol
Additionally, ending the spinner at 01:16:155 - seems artificial and odd since the last recognizable beat in the fade out is at 01:15:495 - the spinner should end there in all diffs imo

Call me back.

  3. 00:59:012 (1,2,1) - ^ (2) to x-240 considering 01:01:649 (1) is the strongest beat in the song - The catcher now walks at a slightly brisker pace.

  5. 01:08:242 (2) - This could do with more spacing, it's arguably stronger than 01:08:902 (3,1) - Done, probably, there was some rearrangements after the previous suggestion anyway.

  1. 00:19:451 (1,2,3,1) - First three slider patterns all go from right to left, recommend reversing (2) and respacing for variety - I like this kind of pattern, and feel it fits well to have simple right-left movement here.
  2. 00:30:001 (1) - Dash would be nice here to emphasize the first "strong" downbeat - Had to make more burai sliders, I forgot how nice they were.
  3. 00:33:957 (3) - Expecting more movement to this for the strong sound, recommend separating into 1/2 slider and circle as you did at 00:44:506 (3,4)
  4. 00:33:957 (3,1) - If you separate you could put a dash between the above, but regardless of that, (1) definitely needs a dash - Prepare for trouble and make it double.
  5. 00:36:594 (3) - C-shaped slider is functioning like a messy vertical at the moment due to low SV - rotating this anticlockwise would look and play better - Or I could just make it a vertical slider :^)
  6. 00:43:187 (1) - ^ or you could use a burai node to make more of a curve here - See, I told you burai sliders are nice.

  1. 00:25:385 (2,3) - Distance here forces a weird stop-tap-change direction which breaks the flow for me. 2. 00:37:913 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - Zig-zag left, right, left again... Cmon, we need some more variety here. I'd Ctrl+H 00:39:891 (4) to emphasize the lowered pitch here. You'll need to flip 00:40:550 (1,2,3) as well and rejig to get some decent spacing back - Otherwise it's left right left goodnight?
  3. 01:10:880 (3) - Either increase the SV on this, make it a burai or do something else here because this curve is not the curve you probably intended it to be lol - Stop oppressing the sliders, they were just born like that, it's not a choice and it's not just a phase. :(
Additionally, ending the spinner at 01:16:155 - seems artificial and odd since the last recognizable beat in the fade out is at 01:15:495 - the spinner should end there in all diffs imo - Spin, spin, spin, spin, spin, spin.

Thanks for the check!

Kk fixed hitsounds.
