The Story of This Map
Where do I even begin with this set. Well I guess it's best to start off with what I call the big 3 Nevo maps, Dream Solister, Otsukimi Recital, and Kibou no Uta. Where I learned how to map through Dream Solister and I met people and learned I love mapping through Otsukimi Recital. Kibou no Uta is where I got all my motivation. It's a fun tale, sometime in the summer of 2016 I was on vacation in Bermuda with a little laptop that ran the editor with like 20 fps. I was fairly new and I spent a lot of time in #modhelp, one day then BN Kibbleru was asking for people to np their maps since he was bored, I was extremely terrified so I nped it and then waited as he went through each map. After like a hour or so he got to my map and god i remember it so clearly. He was modding it for about 5 minutes and I asked him in pm if it was bad, his reply was yeah saying it lacked structure and rhythm consistency and pointed out a few patterns. I then said thank you! He was confused asking why after he just roasted my map I would thank him. I then proceeded to explain that after so long just the fact a BN looked at my map and gave really helpful feedback was enough to make my overfilled with joy. Ever since then I have had this motivation to just make maps that has lasted and lasted even today. :3c

This map as it is right now is not in its original state it is currently the remapped version I made in July 2017 of which I didn't rank until now since I didn't really want to rank my big three original maps but with me closing in on ranked map 100 I feel it would be perfect to rank it before I hit the milestone.

Also this is technically the oldest things I've mapped ranked since it was made before Yubi Bouenkyou :D

[One Year later]This was my first try ever for rank and I just want new mappers to know that sometimes it's better to move on than stick on the same project. This map is hands down one of the most important maps I have ever mapped and I hope maybe one day I'll remap but who knows.

I want the Rank but I'm fixing small things


Normal - Gentle and slow easy for the new players.
Hard - More jumps and patterns.
Yukihira Style - A bit spread out faster more intricate paterns the way the song is meant to be played.

Overall - Combo colors!

Hard -

Your combos are pretty long, I'm pretty sure you can split up some of the longer ones (14-16 hit combos)

00:16:624 (12) - i'd blanket this

00:39:142 (7,8,9) - awkward flow, and kinda weird to read for this diff

00:44:903 (11,12) - flow here is weird, too spaced I think

01:17:634 (9,10,11) - this part seems overly spaced

Your last combo is 22 long, definitely needs a shortening.

Overall this diff was a lot of fun, I think there was some spacing issues overall (some jumps felt out of place), but it played well and I liked a lot of the patterns.

Yukihara Style -

Same thing with the combos, some of them feel too long.

This diff is very similar to your hard, to the point where its very noticeable (esp. the beginning and end). Why not change the shapes / location a bit to differentiate more? Or was this on purpose?

- Woah, a 2.9 star normal O_o

AR seems low for its difficulty.

TBH I feel like you should rebrand your Hard as a "light insane" or similar and call what you currently have as "normal" hard. It has the specs of a normal, sort of (AR, CS, etc), but the mapping is like a hard difficulty. It's very hard to read because the map elements get clogged up with the low AR and big CS.

It's also hard for me to mod because I don't exactly know what you're going for with the normal...there are jumps in there that definitely do not belong in a normal difficulty. Is it supposed to be hard or normal? If it's supposed to be normal then the map overall is way too hard, but if it's supposed to be harder than you can't really call it normal.

Sorry if that didn't make sense, hope you understood though.

Honestly this whole map just needs to be redone. Combos of +7/8 are unrankable, and having notes overlapped and stacked the way you made it really doesnt play well at all. This goes for the other difficulties as well. When you remap, use distance snap to properly space notes throughout the song to make it more playable. Also, utilize the beatmapping threads for more tips on making a good map.

    01:21:697 (1) - I think from here you can do a fast ending (remove some slider and put cilrcles so you can make them jumps, or only increases the speed of slider an meke that part more fast, this is just my nazi opinion :D )

General:
You can add "tv size" into the tags, is really helpful. Considering this anime you can also tag the content of it into the tags, such as food, shounen, ecchi, etc.


Timing:

You can always improve the music by making specific parts of the song with higher hit sound notes or lower ones. I can make a suggestion, at 00:27:276 - you can make the hitsound lower and rise it at 00:49:150 -

MAP IS UNDER HEAVY REMAPPING 4 Thanks to #modhelp i actual know what I'm doing :D
edit: 1/3 of the way done I've rammapped Yukihara Style 6 times and I finally think I got it perfect.
