Hi I'm here because you asked me to I guess

Platter

00:06:187 (2,3) - Possibly questionable distance. I think it's okay but still
00:15:284 (3,4) - Feels a bit long even for a hdash
00:17:800 (4,1) - Was there supposed to be a bullshit hyper here or something or is this just a super shit distance choice?
00:22:445 (4,1) - ^
00:36:380 (6,1,2,3,4,1) - Literally press left and right and afk. Add a hdash or something to spice it up or add like 1% antiflow so it's not identical
00:41:993 (2,3) - I think distance should be cut by a grid or two but it's ok!
00:47:606 (1,2,3) - If you'll pursue this curve (1) more and put (2) closer to (3). First of all distance between 2->3 is sorta long and inconsistent distance
00:50:509 (6,1) - Distance pls
00:55:154 (4,1) - Please don't do this to me on a platter
00:56:703 (4,1) - Distance?
01:00:380 (2) - Ctrl+G.
01:01:542 (1,2,3,4) - Make this not a bullshit distance fest.
01:03:864 (3) - Curve this please (Yes im saying this)
01:06:187 (1,2) - Like actually please don't do this type of distance on a platter
01:07:735 (1,2) - ^

I know I'm a shit modder and I don't know anything but I really don't think this is fit to be a Platter.

Edit: Actually looking at the thing as a whole most distances are "okay" still hard for a platter xdxd

[Salad]
  1. 00:12:574 (5) - Add whistle in head
  2. 00:14:316 (3) - Add whistle in tale
  3. 00:31:348 (5) - If you make this note with Vocal You should add 00:31:348 (add whistle) 00:31:606 00:31:929 (add whistle)
  4. 01:17:025 (3) - Chagne to Sampleset - Drum
  5. 01:17:219 (1) - ^ and add clap
nothing special with pattern :D

[Platter]
  1. 00:12:574 (2) - Add whistle in head
  2. 00:14:316 (2) - Add whistle in tale
  3. 00:16:445 (6) - Add clap
  4. 00:20:316 (2) - How about Ctrl+H and move to x:168
nothing special too :D

[Rain]
  1. 00:12:574 (2) - Add whistle in head
  2. 00:14:316 (4) - Add whistle in tale
  3. Pattern Suggest You can ignore this
    00:29:606 (2) - delete slider and 00:29:606 - x:256 00:29:800 x:200 00:29:993 x:128
    00:30:767 (2) - ^ and ctrl+H
    00:31:735 (4) - How about add 1/2 slider 00:31:735 x:224 00:32:122 x:408
  4. 00:46:445 (2) - Add note x:120
  5. 01:09:671 (2) - Reduce distance
good pattern :3

Monstrata
Tried modding ctb. This is the log if anyone's interested. It's a mode i've been interested in getting to know better, and I've (secretly) been mapping some ctb to practice since people tell me my standard maps convert pretty well.

I feel good about this map honestly, since Ascendance explained a lot of stuff to me lol.

logs
20:37 Monstrata: this jump feels too large. Theres a cymbal on 2 of course, but compared to 00:41:025 (3,1) - the jump feels a bit too big for the sound its capturing. Consider reducing the spacing a bit
20:37 Ascendance: emphasis wise
20:37 Ascendance: yeah that would be fine
20:39 Ascendance: I'd reduce the distance but I want to keep the hdash for the high vocal
20:39 Ascendance: since you're right, the jump is too high
20:39 Monstrata: okay cool
20:39 Monstrata: 00:53:800 (1) - does this play like a flowbreak?
20:39 Ascendance: yup
20:40 Ascendance: you sound like you dont need my help haha
20:40 Ascendance: but I'll change some stuff anyways
20:40 Monstrata: 00:59:025 - shouldn't there be something here
20:41 Ascendance: good point
20:43 Monstrata: 01:09:284 (1,2,3,4) - Doesn't this arrangement kinda, uh not give 4 as much emphasize? Even tho pitch is increasing? like, not a ctb mapper but http://puu.sh/qMgeg.jpg would this arrangement be more accurate in capturing 4?
20:43 Monstrata: cuz it looks like if you had more screen room you'd have put 4 more to the left of the screen
20:44 Ascendance: sure fixed that, just made it so 01:09:671 (2,3) - kept the hyperdash between them
20:44 Ascendance: but now 4 has more room
20:44 Monstrata: ay ok
20:45 Monstrata: 01:22:445 (3) - How about making this more horizontal so theres movement from the head to the tail too? since theres a snare on 01:22:638 -
20:46 Monstrata: 01:25:735 (6,7,1) - make 7>1 a larger jump? For better emphasis
20:46 Ascendance: done. also moved it away from the wall a bit so its more comfortable
20:46 Ascendance: mm it's a bit high now, but I'll move it 2-3 grids more to make it a bit higher than the previous
20:47 Monstrata: yea, crescendo effect is better here since pitch is going up up up
20:47 Ascendance: yup yup
20:47 Monstrata: okay how was that mod
20:47 Monstrata: was that actually decent lol
20:48 Ascendance: yeah that was actually quite good
20:48 Ascendance: actually impressed lol
20:49 Monstrata: on Platter
20:49 Monstrata: are jumps like 00:05:800 (1,2) - actually fine? lol
20:49 Monstrata: that seems so big to me xD
20:49 Ascendance: realistically its fine but i'll reduce it a lot LOL
20:50 Monstrata: 00:02:896 (3,1) - maybe reduce this a bit too
20:50 Monstrata: since its still a quiet section
20:50 Monstrata: 00:20:896 (3,4,1) - Does this not being even spacing
20:50 Monstrata: affect the structure in game?
20:51 Ascendance: moving 00:21:090 (4) - one grid to the left would make it all even so i did that
20:51 Monstrata: its like 1.88 and then 1.66 but in game it looks like a linear line thats kinda off
20:51 Monstrata: okay
20:51 Ascendance: i reduced the spacing in the other one a bit
20:51 Ascendance: yeah ctb is only x-axis
20:51 Ascendance: regardless of where it is on y in editor
20:52 Monstrata: 00:27:477 (1,2,3) - is it okay to have two hyper dashes so close to each other on Platters?
20:52 Monstrata: seems a bit like excessive movement idk
20:53 Ascendance: yeah
20:54 Ascendance: fixed it
20:54 Monstrata: 00:42:961 (1,2) - 2 doesn't feel emphasized really
20:55 Monstrata: this is a 2/3 gap too so i think you can use a more emphatic pattern
20:55 Ascendance: I added a clap and moved it to x:280
20:55 Monstrata: sounds good
20:55 Ascendance: actually idk about the clap
20:55 Monstrata: 00:55:348 (1,2) - i guess same here
20:56 Monstrata: you could do a soft-finish instead i think
20:56 Monstrata: hmm actually
20:56 Ascendance: should i just keep the whistle
20:56 Ascendance: fixed that btw
20:56 Monstrata: actually yea soft-finish would fit there
20:56 Ascendance: kk
20:56 Monstrata: 00:53:800 (1) - u can hear a cymbal here and 00:55:929 (2) -
20:57 Monstrata: 00:59:025 - how about something here too btw?
20:57 Monstrata: i guess you're going for vocal, but having something to catch there would still be nice haha
20:57 Ascendance: added a circle
20:58 Monstrata: 01:04:638 (4) - Horizontal or something? so theres movement to emphasize the two drum sounds?
20:59 Ascendance: faced it to the right
20:59 Monstrata: k
20:59 Monstrata: tbh i actually wanna learn ctb cuz it seems so similar to standard in terms of flow and structure xD
21:00 Ascendance: its just standard mapping without the y axis imo
21:00 Ascendance: (and a lot more intricate details)
21:00 Ascendance: but im sure you'd probably be pretty good at it
21:00 Ascendance: seems you know what you're doing for the most part
21:01 Monstrata: 01:23:800 (2) - what do you think of stacking this with 01:22:832 (4) - 's tail
21:02 Ascendance: standard mapper
21:02 Monstrata: so the spacing doesn't really dwindle down until after like 01:24:767 - when the instruments start to become softer
21:02 Ascendance: I did x:88 so that way the droplets aren't compressed to the wall
21:02 Monstrata: well, im just applying what i know anyways xD
21:02 Monstrata: oh right i forgot about that
21:02 Ascendance: yeah nice suggestion :D
21:02 Ascendance: yeah anything "offscreen" gets put at x:0
21:02 Ascendance: or x:512
21:03 Monstrata: oooh i see
21:03 Monstrata: so its not like standard where you can go outside the editor as long as its still ingame
21:03 Monstrata: huh ic
21:04 Monstrata: btw how do NC's translate into ctb
21:04 Ascendance: fruit splashing off the plate
21:04 Monstrata: 00:06:574 (1,2) - cuz i would swap NC's here on Salad,
21:04 Monstrata: also applies to World of Color i guess
21:06 Ascendance: oh nice catch
21:06 Ascendance: fixed em both
21:08 Monstrata: 00:39:864 (4) - NC?
21:08 Ascendance: salad?
21:08 Monstrata: ya
21:09 Monstrata: hm they switch to 2/1 nc okay maybe it might be fine
21:09 Monstrata: but then again theres a clear instrument change there so i think an NC is still nice to show the difference
21:09 Ascendance: i nc'd that just cause fruit stacking was a bit high anyways
21:13 Monstrata: ok
21:14 Ascendance: ok!
21:15 Monstrata: 01:18:380 (7,1) - is a jump like this fine for salad? it looked rather big compared to other jumps used
21:15 Monstrata: but its kiai too so
21:15 Monstrata: im just worried, given the rhythm density and jumps used in the section. does it create a diff spike thats too much for a salad?
21:16 Ascendance: if i delete 01:17:219 (1,3) - would it be a bit better?
21:18 Ascendance: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5922129
21:19 Monstrata: but those are quite important musically, no?
21:20 Monstrata: i think instead of changing rhythm, you can make the section less jumpy? xD like reduce spacing a bit
21:20 Ascendance: sure
21:21 Monstrata: Cup. 00:10:445 (1,2,1) - Why is the spacing smaller going into the higher pitched SHINFUNI
21:22 Ascendance: 00:11:606 (2,1) - increased distance
21:24 Monstrata: btw
21:24 Monstrata: on Cup
21:24 Monstrata: is it better to use
21:25 Monstrata: equal DS?
21:25 Monstrata: or is it fine to have DS fluctuate?
21:25 Monstrata: 00:06:187 (4,1) - Looking at the DS here
21:25 Ascendance: you don't need to use DS at all in cup, it just makes distances look a bit nicer
21:25 Monstrata: ah ok
21:26 Monstrata: btw NC'ing on Easy seems a bit uh
21:26 Monstrata: dense
21:26 Monstrata: 00:16:638 (1,1,1,2,1,2) - like, these are 1 note combo's or 2 note combo's
21:26 Monstrata: does it matter as much on Cup's?
21:26 Monstrata: cuz i know in standard, if your rhythm density is that low, its better to NC every two measures so theres some concept of "combo" still, isntead of everything being basically ND's xD
21:27 Ascendance: isnt a huge deal but I'll fix em up anyways
21:28 Monstrata: rest looks clean then

General Comments:
  1. Song Folder: Didn't check mp3/video quality, remind me to do this later if you want me to
  2. Song Setup: Even though you silenced them, I would prefer STR1 on this song since there are a large number of 1/1 sliders for instrument and 3/4 repeats for vocal with 1/2 ticks but no sounds beneath them, especially outside of the kiai. In the higher diffs, the actual 1/2 patterns that would justify the ticks are mapped as objects in their own right anyway, so there's really no need for STR2.
  3. Metadata: No issues
  4. Timing: Offset sounds a little early to me, I'd throw +10 on it (1165)
  5. Hitsounds: If you change to STR1 with recommendation above, decide whether or not you want to keep/change the slidertick hitsound file
  6. AImod: No issues

Difficulty-Specific Comments:

Boobs' Cup
  1. 00:27:477 (3) - This combo is 10 fruits long, starts to pile up on the plate and obstruct the player's view. NC here would help break up it up, improving readability for new players
  2. 00:37:348 (2) - Missing whistle on head for consistency with 00:35:800 (2)
  3. 00:42:961 (1,2) - Not sure why you started to place NCs in the middle of vocal phrases here considering you were doing fine with an 8 beat NC pattern before. NCs should go on 00:44:509 (2) - 00:47:606 (3) - etc. OR make NCs every 4 beats as you do from 00:49:154 (1) onwards here as well
  4. 00:59:219 (3) - Clap would be nice here to emphasize the contrasting drum sounds
  5. 01:05:413 (1,2) - I think you're following drums here, but in case you want to follow vocal, a 3/4 repeat slider fits better
  6. 01:11:413 (2) - Missing clap on the head? Feels a bit empty without a hs addition here
  7. 01:11:993 (3) - Tilt the tail more to the right please, the combination of vertical flowstop and large 1/2 gap will catch a lot of new players out here
  8. 01:15:477 (1,2) - Yikes, this spacing is borderline dash, please reduce it. Something like x-296 also makes the spacing to 01:17:219 (1) a lot more comfortable
  9. 01:17:219 (1) - Suggest splitting this into circle and 1/2 slider to give that white tick cymbal sound more emphasis
  10. 01:27:090 (2) - Whistle on the head would contrast nicely with the previous finish sound
  11. 01:27:864 (1) - Such a strong finish, why leave this unmapped? You're allowed a minimum 1/1 spacing between notes and spinner starts on Cup diffs, so with your current spinner placement you can definitely add a note here to the left of 01:27:090 (2) - since the spinner starts on the left side anyway. Alternatively, you could just make the spinner start 1/1 earlier as in the Salad - your choice.

Tenshichan's Salad
  1. 00:12:574 (5) - Missing whistle on head for consistency with 00:09:477 (4)
  2. 00:27:477 (4) - Why no NC here when you were following a 4 beat NC pattern all through the previous section?
  3. 00:30:187 (3) - Definitely in need of an NC here, 15 note combo is excessive for a Salad and will impact readability
  4. 00:33:671 (4) - Same as 00:27:477 (4)
  5. 00:35:993 (2,2) - For variety from the previous 1/2 repeat patterns, I'd replace these with 3/2 sliders (or 1/1 slider + circle) starting on 00:35:800 and 00:37:348 to follow the vocal
  6. 00:39:864 (4,4) etc. - More really long combos you should probably break up to help newer players
  7. 00:41:413 (1,2) - Not a fan of this rhythm, feels very artificial to me, especially considering you skip the strong drum sound on 00:42:574 - 1/1 slider, circle, 1/1 slider starting at 00:41:413 follows the rhythm much better
  8. 00:42:961 (4) - Because of the low SV, this plays like a vertical slider and is a little boring. If you make changes above, try bringing this away from the wall to create more of a < shaped slider
  9. 00:53:025 (4,1) - Spacing provides doubt as to whether or not dash is required. Since the sound is strong, I'd increase this spacing a bit so it's more obvious
  10. 01:13:929 (1,2) - To provide some spread balance between the Cup and Platter here, I'd make this simpler (and easier). Replace (1) with a 1/1 slider and circle, then keep (2) but make it more vertical so the movement is a little less harsh
  11. 01:16:251 (2,1,2) - Weird usage of double dash creates an awkward flow here. I'd take a similar suggestion to the one I offered in the Cup - replace 01:17:219 (2) with a circle and 1/2 slider, then add the dash to the start of the slider instead for the strong vocal and cymbal sound
The difficulty in this diff comes from the density alone, as there is a real lack of dashes, especially in the kiai. Adding some dashes to strong sounds in the kiai would really help balance the spread to Platter, e.g. 01:08:896 (5,1) - 01:11:993 (5,1) - 01:18:380 (6,1) - etc.

Platter
  1. 00:27:477 (1,2) - I'd move these to around x-144, since the spacing to the strong sound on (1) is really underwhelming, and (3) isn't really strong enough to warrant a hyper
  2. 00:33:671 (1,2) - I don't really feel like (2) needs this much emphasis, perhaps you could reduce it whilst keeping the jump to 00:34:251 (3)
  3. 00:37:154 (2) - Gets a little repetitive with all these opposing 1/2 sliders, so maybe move this to x-24 for some variety
  4. 00:39:477 (1,2,3) - Whilst (3) does have a finish hitsound, the intensity of the music is really low here. Even compared to your other hdashes these are really strong, a pair of regular dashes would fit much better
  5. 00:45:284 (3) - Holy moly a vertical slider dude are you fine? Seriously though I'd prefer this curved for the flowing held vocal
  6. 00:52:058 (4,1) - Reduce the amount of antiflow here by making the first part of (1) more vertical (and possibly also bring =s it further from the wall)
  7. 01:03:864 (3) - Make this more vertical for a more lenient transition out of the hdash
  8. 01:07:348 (4,1) - 01:18:380 (4,1) - Hello again! (:
  9. 01:23:800 (2) - Split into circle and 1/2 slider to follow the vocal more closely?

A World of Colour
  1. 00:30:777 (2,3) - The intensity here is similar to the previous iterations of the pattern, so doesn't really justify a hyper for me. I'd put (3) on x-72 and (4) on x-48, since the (3,4) spacing being so low is also a little uncomfortable combined with the strong hdash that follows
  2. 00:35:616 (2,3,4,5) - 00:37:164 (2,3,4,5) - Feel a little plain flow-wise, more of a curve would play nicely here
  3. 00:37:939 (6,1) - Wasn't expecting this hyper to be so strong, especially with the vertical slider creating a flowstop it's easy to overshoot here. Consider making the slider more curved and/or reducing the hyper strength slightly
  4. 00:57:487 (2,3) - Hyper against the wall, would recommend moving (3) slightly to the right to avoid the potential flowstop here
  5. 01:16:841 (6,1,2,3) - This pattern feels weird to me for a few reasons. Firstly, your previous patterns all seemed to emphasize instrument over vocals, so the double hyper for vocals is unexpected. Secondly, a large amount of emphasis is lost by mapping the strong cymbal sound at 01:17:423 - as a slider tail. Thirdly, I don't hear any 1/4 sounds until 01:17:810 (1) - so the 1/4 slider 01:17:616 (3) - seems unnecessary to me. Something like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5924277 would follow the rhythm much better imo
  6. 01:27:874 (1,1) - Push the spinner start back 1/4 to 01:28:068 please so that there's a 1/2 note-spinner spacing

Good luck! (:

I'd put (3) on x-72 and (4) on x-48, since the (3,4) spacing being so low is also a little uncomfortable combined with the strong hdash that follows Changed it a bit differently distance wise, but removed the hdash.
  2. 00:35:616 (2,3,4,5) - 00:37:164 (2,3,4,5) - Feel a little plain flow-wise, more of a curve would play nicely here yea
  3. 00:37:939 (6,1) - Wasn't expecting this hyper to be so strong, especially with the vertical slider creating a flowstop it's easy to overshoot here. Consider making the slider more curved and/or reducing the hyper strength slightly curved it!
  4. 00:57:487 (2,3) - Hyper against the wall, would recommend moving (3) slightly to the right to avoid the potential flowstop here wots up
  5. 01:16:841 (6,1,2,3) - This pattern feels weird to me for a few reasons. Something like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5924277 would follow the rhythm much better imo Yuii- brought this up to me too. You bring up a lot of good points, so I adjusted some things, but I really like the double hyper for the strong sounds, even the non-vocal sounds that I believe are strong. I adjusted the slider so that way the strong sound doesn't land on a tail, and adjusted some distances, but I'd like the main intention to stay the same.
  6. 01:27:874 (1,1) - Push the spinner start back 1/4 to 01:28:068 please so that there's a 1/2 note-spinner spacing done

Good luck! (:
