[Insane]

[Euphoria]

[Insane]

[Easy]
  1. 00:08:665 (2) - if you notice, (2) is actually closer to pink combo (3) than (1), even though both are blanketing it. moving (2) to x384 y24 should fix this
  2. 01:10:590 (2,3) - this overlap seems a bit out of place considering you didn't overlap anywhere else yet. something like this would work quite well
  3. 01:14:440 (5,1) - well, i guess overlaps are becoming more frequent now. either way, i'd try to avoid this kind of thing as much as possible in an easy diff, especially to make it look cleaner
  4. 01:23:745 (3) - blanket is slightly off, slider should be moved to x301 y22
  5. 01:28:879 (3) - same thing about the overlaps, something like this wouldn't look too bad
  6. 01:36:258 (2) - this clap seems a bit out of place
  7. 01:46:847 (3) - shouldn't this slider be extended by 1/4? i get that this is rhythm simplification, but as of now it just sounds really offbeat
  8. 01:58:397 (1,2) - you can try blanketing these by doing something like this
  9. 02:02:248 (2) - i'd try to move this a bit further away from (1) because it currently looks a bit awkward, maybe moving this slider to x73 y147 would fix it (and maybe rotating a bit so it's easier to fix spacing with next note)
  10. 02:36:900 (1) - blanket is slightly off, moving this slider to x458 y207 would probably make it better
  11. 02:47:167 (1) - same as ^, moving to x69 y304 should make it better
  12. 03:02:248 (4,1) - maybe something like this?
  13. 03:10:911 (2) - blanket is slightly off, moving this to x151 y269 should fix it
  14. 03:19:253 (3) - moving this to x375 y0 would make the blanket a bit better
  15. 03:33:371 (1) - moving the red point to x411 y55 and the third sliderpoint to x460 y22 would make the blanket better
[Normal]
  1. 00:38:344 (6) - I'd rather make this slider 1/2 shorter to follow the main instrument better
  2. 01:35:777 (2) - move to x256 y200 for direct flow with previous slider?
  3. 01:39:948 (6) - same as 00:38
  4. 01:58:397 (1,2) - feels like you ran out of mapping space here, i personally feel that this pattern can be improved by moving (1) to x490 y198 and (2) to x512 y0
  5. 02:40:109 (2,3) - maybe improve the blanket here?
  6. 03:17:970 (1) - blanket can be improved by moving red sliderpoint to x403 y21303:35:937 (1,2) -

  8. 03:41:071 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - i personally feel like this rhythm would work much better, emphasizing strong beats:
  9. 03:44:280 (2) - move to x269 y196 to stack properly with 03:43:317 (6) -
  10. 04:03:691 (6) - same as 00:38

[Hard]
  1. 00:25:991 (1,2) - this overlap seems out of place. maybe something like this would work better.
  2. 00:38:023 (4,5) - similarly to normal, i disagree that you chose to skip this beat since it's really important, but i understand that you didn't want to skip 00:38:825. so i suggest using a 1/4 filler note, to do something like this:
  3. 00:46:526 (1) - move to x308 y5 to improve blanket
  4. 00:51:339 (4,1) - weird that you mapped the 1/4 in 01:01:125 (2,3,4) - but skipped this one, i'd try to map it even if using a 1/4 repeat slider
  5. 01:01:285 (4) - shorten by 1/4 and add 1 repeat? you're skipping a 1/4 note here
  6. 01:39:948 (5) - same as 00:38
  7. 01:50:055 (3) - if this 1/4 is trying to follow piano i felt it a bit awkward because the piano isn't exactly going 1/4 here, i'd rather try to simplify rhythm by just going 1/2 slider here
  8. 02:23:424 (2,3,4,5,1) - seems overmapped to me, the song doesn't go 1/4 here
  9. 02:38:825 (2) - blanket can be improved by moving to x119 y56

[Insane]
  1. 00:01:606 (1) - eh, imo this is just overmapped, the piano doesn't go 1/4 here at all and this doesn't fit with the song in any way
  2. 00:50:697 (2) - there's no real way to guess this is 3 repeats, sliderbroke here on sightread due to thinking this was 1 repeat. i'd probably make this 5 notes or 2 notes + 1 slider with 1 repeat like 00:53:424 (2,3,4).
  3. 00:55:991 (2,3) - add a note between these? felt a bit awkward to play this considering the song goes 1/4
  4. 01:08:344 - felt weird that you decided to skip this even though you mapped 01:07:381 (3,3), especially considering this one is the big white tick
  5. 01:11:071 (2,4) - honestly i feel like this sv is too high for this part in the song, i thought these were 1/1 sliders at first
  6. 01:24:387 (6) - I believe this goes slightly offscreen in 4:3 resolution
  7. 01:50:055 (3) - same as hard, piano here actually goes 1/3 then 1/4, so it's better to simplify this by going 1/2
  8. 02:08:023 (4) - i'd move the third sliderpoint to x108 y133 to make this slider look nicer
  9. 02:10:109 (2) - i don't think the song goes 1/4 here
  10. 02:12:836 (1,1) - may be just me being too picky but these sliders don't really keep a relation of continuity, i thought they were 1-repeat slider due to the way they are positioned/faced. ctrl+g'ing them to make something like this would work quite nicely.
  11. 02:17:007 (3,4) - spacing felt too low compared to the other notes in this combo, i'd try to move this note around x468 y132
  12. 02:23:103 (1) - there's a rather big chance of 100'ing in this slider to follow the stream later, so i'd ctrl+g this to make sure this doesn't happen
  13. 03:05:135 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - kinda sad that you skipped a bunch of 1/4s in this section. just after this you managed to follow most/all of them, so it'd be nice if you did it here as well
  14. 03:30:804 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2) - same as 01:08:344
  15. 04:01:766 (2,4,5,6) - i felt this a bit confusing when playing for the first time, but now i'm fine with it. just doublecheck if this is definitely what you want in the map, since someone may complain & it may cause a DQ later
  16. 04:02:889 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - ^
  17. 04:05:777 (1) - ctrl+g for the same reason as 02:23
  18. 04:24:226 (5) - i'd split this into two notes since this is a rather important beat to be skipped
  19. 04:25:670 (1) - ctrl+g for same reason as above
  20. 04:25:991 (1) - ^
[Euphoria]
  1. 00:01:606 (1) - same as insane, this feels overmapped
  2. 00:35:777 (7) - i'd split this into two notes since it's a strong beat at the sliderend
  3. 00:38:344 (5) - ^
  4. 00:57:274 (3,4,5,6) - skipping a note here, again, felt a bit awkward to play
  5. 01:01:766 (9) - i'd move this to x69 y360 so it flows directly into 01:01:927 (1)
  6. 01:06:579 (1,1) - these two are overmapped, while 01:06:258 (1) - actually follows the 1/4 in the song. while it's a nice pattern, i'll have to ask you to remove these sliders ):
  7. 01:09:146 (1,1) - ^
  8. 01:12:194 (1) - there's a rather strong 1/2 beat here, you sure you want to skip it for this 3/4 slider?
  9. 01:15:483 (5) - there's no 1/4 here, it should actually be at 01:15:322
  10. 01:30:883 (6) - overmapped, there's no 1/4 here
  11. 01:48:772 (2,3) - ^ for the sliderends. well, this seems to apply for a lot of times in the map so i won't mention these anymore since they most likely are intentional
  12. 02:21:980 (4) - this beat is really strong, in no way this should've been skipped for the sliderend
  13. 03:14:760 (7,8) - i really felt like this doesn't work well, the spacing is 1/2-like while the actual difference is 1/4. strongly recommend changing this to normal spacing
  14. 04:03:691 (5) - same as 00:35
  15. 04:05:135 (2) - ctrl+g to make it less 100'able, especially since the slider doesn't flow into the next stream
really nice map, felt surprised that you don't have any ranked maps yet, since aside from some questionable rhythm decisions on the later diffs this was actually extremely well done. nice map!

also took me 3 hours to mod this lol

Hey, m4m from your request :) I hope this mod won't conflict with Mismagius's mod.

[General]
  1. Hm, is slider tick 2 necessary? Especially in lower diffs, 1 should be ok. However, it can cause some problems with custom hitsounds at slider ticks...
[Easy]
  1. 01:14:761 (1) - This overlapping slider can be confusing for new players, consider something more clear.
  2. 01:36:258 (2) - Probably you forgot to change sampleset hitsound to custom.
  3. 01:46:847 (3) - Tbh this slider feels quite meh, 1/1 should be much better.
  4. 02:44:601 (1,2) - I hope patterns like this in Easy diffs are rankable... It's not bad for me, probably some more experienced modders can point this out.
  5. 03:02:248 (4,1) - Consider remove this overlapping? It looks bad imo :p
[Normal]
  1. This is just an idea you can apply in your future maps, as you probably won't implement in this diff: you could use lower SV in slow section at the beginning (00:00:000 - 00:10:590), 0.8 would be fine; now these sliders seem too fast paced compared to music :)
  2. 00:32:408 (4) - 00:34:975 (4) - 01:34:012 (4) - etc - There are some patterns with slider like this, maybe try to replace them with circle, it should be less confusing for players.
  3. 00:51:659 (1,2) - Maybe add repeat to both sliders to follow melody? Remember about spacing when applying.
  4. 02:22:301 (3) - Similar situation, you can try to add repeat for this slider and remove 02:22:622 (4)?
  5. 02:48:451 (4) - Hmmmm Ctrl+J for better transition with previous slider? Something like this.
  6. 03:00:804 (3) - I'm not 100% sure, but this slider with gap before would be confusing, you can try to Ctrl+G this slider and move 03:00:322 (2) easily.
  7. 03:03:852 (3,4,5) - Huh that's a nice pattern, but I wonder if it's not too much for Normal :p
[Hard]
  1. Try OD 6 for this difficulty, 5 is kinda low for Hard.
  2. 00:25:991 (1) - Placement of this circle is just bad, you can discard DS and move it up :p
  3. 00:56:793 (1) - Possibly change this slider to something circular? Tbh it doesn't flow good with the previous one.
  4. 01:06:419 (1,1) - 01:08:986 (1,1) - Remove these NCs as they can be confusing with these spaced sliders in this section.
  5. 01:57:355 (2) - This slider can be uncomfortable for players as this is probably the only circle placed in blue tick (not counting triples and streams)
  6. 02:22:782 (1,2) - This spacing can be read as 1/4 so players would treat the five as starting at 02:23:344. Consider changing shape of the slider, you can ignore distance snapping.
  7. 03:05:777 (3,4) - I don't really like flow here... Maybe something like this? (Note you'll need to resnap these sliders)
[Insane]
  1. OD 7.5 or even 8 would be great for this diff!
  2. 00:11:232 (3) - 00:12:515 (3) - These objects would be nice but mapped as 1/2 sliders, just like here 00:13:798 (3). Now you avoid quite important sounds.
  3. 03:28:077 (4) - Is this jump intentional?
  4. 04:33:879 (2) - Try Ctrl+G on this slider, it should flow much better
[Euphoria]
  1. 00:11:232 (3) - 00:12:515 (3) - Same as in Insane diff.
  2. 00:57:355 - Hm, there's no circle here but you put it at 00:57:515? It's probably a mistake, you should "move" this triple.
  3. 01:49:814 (2,3,4,5) - What do you wanted to follow with these objects? Melody or drums? :p If melody, these circles are not snapped to actual melody (it's more 1/3). If drums (hi-hats), you should replace it with triple 01:49:895 - 01:50:055.
  4. 01:51:339 (2,3) - You should space these objects more to emphasize different spacing (1/3). You put basically same spacing as in 1/4 streams in this section.
  5. 01:58:077 (5) - I can't hear anything on the blue tick, imo this slider should be 1/2 without repeats.
  6. 01:58:397 (1,2) - I hope this SV change won't be confusing for players, these 1/2 sliders have almost same length as 01:58:077 (5) which is 1/4.
  7. 02:09:788 (6) - It would be great if this slider followed same pattern/idea as 02:09:146 (4,5).
  8. 02:17:328 (4) - Try to move this circle more away from 02:17:007 (3). Try something like this? It's quite similar as 02:17:649 (1,2).
  9. 02:38:183 (1) - With Ctrl+G on this slider you can get nice continuation of zigzag flow you created with previous sliders.
  10. 03:04:012 (2,2,2,2) - Just aesthetics, try to rearrange these circles, now they're look random... You made a nice circular pattern with 03:03:852 (1,1,1,1) - so why 2s do look different?
  11. 03:05:456 (2) - Aesthetics again, try to move this slider a bit left, you can get a much better spacing between objects.
  12. 03:15:082 (9) - Maybe put NC to emphasize build-up and SV change?
  13. 03:25:349 (8,9) - You can increase SV as in 03:15:082 (9,10) and new NC at (8).
  14. 03:34:814 (2,4) - Wow, any reason to put that high SV? I think 1.1 as in 03:34:494 - should be fine, 1.5 here feels so sudden.
  15. 03:39:226 (5) - You should remove this circle, it doesn't follow anything; this circle is placed incorrectly especially because there's ignored sound at 03:39:066 - which is just part of slider :v
  16. 04:04:012 (6) - Hm, this circle would be actually removed.
  17. 04:04:173 (1,2,3) - This triple would work much better as 1/2 slider, I can't hear any sound that can defend any object at blue tick here, also the red tick doesn't even need to be clickable as the sound which appears at 04:04:333 is very mild.
Despite some wrong placed/overmapped notes and imo overused SV changes, this is a very solid mapset. Hitsounds are just great and I like the fact you mapped all difficulties for a really long song so all diffs are mapped consistently, I don't see that very often nowadays. I like it :)

[Easy]
  1. 00:08:665 (2) - if you notice, (2) is actually closer to pink combo (3) than (1), even though both are blanketing it. moving (2) to x384 y24 should fix this Ooh that makes it a lot better lol
  2. 01:10:590 (2,3) - this overlap seems a bit out of place considering you didn't overlap anywhere else yet. something like this would work quite well Fixed
  3. 01:14:440 (5,1) - well, i guess overlaps are becoming more frequent now. either way, i'd try to avoid this kind of thing as much as possible in an easy diff, especially to make it look cleaner I heard about this the last time I tried to rank a map as well - avoiding overlaps in Easy. Fixed.
  4. 01:23:745 (3) - blanket is slightly off, slider should be moved to x301 y22 Fixed
  5. 01:28:879 (3) - same thing about the overlaps, something like this wouldn't look too bad Fixed this one and the following overlap
  6. 01:36:258 (2) - this clap seems a bit out of place Ooh good catch, forgot to remove the green lines
  7. 01:46:847 (3) - shouldn't this slider be extended by 1/4? i get that this is rhythm simplification, but as of now it just sounds really offbeat Is that allowed in an Easy? I changed it for now
  8. 01:58:397 (1,2) - you can try blanketing these by doing something like this Hopefully looks better now
  9. 02:02:248 (2) - i'd try to move this a bit further away from (1) because it currently looks a bit awkward, maybe moving this slider to x73 y147 would fix it (and maybe rotating a bit so it's easier to fix spacing with next note) Hmm I changed that slider's position entirely
  10. 02:36:900 (1) - blanket is slightly off, moving this slider to x458 y207 would probably make it better Fixed
  11. 02:47:167 (1) - same as ^, moving to x69 y304 should make it better Fixed
  12. 03:02:248 (4,1) - maybe something like this? Woooo getting rid of those overlaps
  13. 03:10:911 (2) - blanket is slightly off, moving this to x151 y269 should fix it Fixed
  14. 03:19:253 (3) - moving this to x375 y0 would make the blanket a bit better Fixed
  15. 03:33:371 (1) - moving the red point to x411 y55 and the third sliderpoint to x460 y22 would make the blanket better Fixed, wow lots of blanket fixes :D
[Normal]
  1. 00:38:344 (6) - I'd rather make this slider 1/2 shorter to follow the main instrument better This one is a tough one... I really want to have a long slider here because I'm hearing the held note more. I'll consider this after I receive more mods.
  2. 01:35:777 (2) - move to x256 y200 for direct flow with previous slider? If you mean a linear flow, done
  3. 01:39:948 (6) - same as 00:38
  4. 01:58:397 (1,2) - feels like you ran out of mapping space here, i personally feel that this pattern can be improved by moving (1) to x490 y198 and (2) to x512 y0 Somewhat Fixed
  5. 02:40:109 (2,3) - maybe improve the blanket here? Fixed, hopefully it looks better
  6. 03:17:970 (1) - blanket can be improved by moving red sliderpoint to x403 y213 Fixed
  7. 03:35:937 (1,2) - seems like you ran out of mapping space as well, i'd rather do something like this Fixed
  8. 03:41:071 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - i personally feel like this rhythm would work much better, emphasizing strong beats: Ooh this does sound better, fixed along with this one: 01:17:328 (1,2,3,4,5,6)

  2. 00:38:023 (4,5) - similarly to normal, i disagree that you chose to skip this beat since it's really important, but i understand that you didn't want to skip 00:38:825. so i suggest using a 1/4 filler note, to do something like this: Again something to think about, but I wanted a long slider for the held note and doing a 1/4 gap between a slider and circle is something I wanted to avoid in this difficulty, save for this special occasion: 02:23:745 (1,1)
  3. 00:46:526 (1) - move to x308 y5 to improve blanket Fixed
  4. 00:51:339 (4,1) - weird that you mapped the 1/4 in 01:01:125 (2,3,4) - but skipped this one, i'd try to map it even if using a 1/4 repeat slider The reason I skipped these 1/4s originally was because I had mapped 1/2 sliders in the 4th beats of every measure in this section. However I looked at my higher difficulties and saw that I did decide to map the 1/4s here - hence fixed
  5. 01:01:285 (4) - shorten by 1/4 and add 1 repeat? you're skipping a 1/4 note here I'm afraid that mapping 5 1/4s in a row might take away contrast from the other sections of the map that actually deserves 5 1/4s more than this one. Such as these ones: 02:03:210 (4,5,6,7,1) and 02:23:424 (2,3,4,5,1)
  6. 01:39:948 (5) - same as 00:38

  8. 02:23:424 (2,3,4,5,1) - seems overmapped to me, the song doesn't go 1/4 here This is something I like to do here because it adds to the intensity of the kiai's ending
  9. 02:38:825 (2) - blanket can be improved by moving to x119 y56 Fixed

  2. 00:50:697 (2) - there's no real way to guess this is 3 repeats, sliderbroke here on sightread due to thinking this was 1 repeat. i'd probably make this 5 notes or 2 notes + 1 slider with 1 repeat like 00:53:424 (2,3,4). Fixed to 2circle + 1slider
  3. 00:55:991 (2,3) - add a note between these? felt a bit awkward to play this considering the song goes 1/4 Fixed here and here 03:19:734 (2,3,4)
  4. 01:08:344 - felt weird that you decided to skip this even though you mapped 01:07:381 (3,3), especially considering this one is the big white tick Oh I'm dumb, I mapped the big white tick in my Extra, but didn't here
  5. 01:11:071 (2,4) - honestly i feel like this sv is too high for this part in the song, i thought these were 1/1 sliders at first Toned it down slightly to 1.20x
  6. 01:24:387 (6) - I believe this goes slightly offscreen in 4:3 resolution Fixed
  7. 01:50:055 (3) - same as hard, piano here actually goes 1/3 then 1/4, so it's better to simplify this by going 1/2 Fixed this too
  8. 02:08:023 (4) - i'd move the third sliderpoint to x108 y133 to make this slider look nicer Fixed
  9. 02:10:109 (2) - i don't think the song goes 1/4 here Yep, changed to a 1/2 slider instead
  10. 02:12:836 (1,1) - may be just me being too picky but these sliders don't really keep a relation of continuity, i thought they were 1-repeat slider due to the way they are positioned/faced. ctrl+g'ing them to make something like this would work quite nicely. Fixed
  11. 02:17:007 (3,4) - spacing felt too low compared to the other notes in this combo, i'd try to move this note around x468 y132 Moved it around there
  12. 02:23:103 (1) - there's a rather big chance of 100'ing in this slider to follow the stream later, so i'd ctrl+g this to make sure this doesn't happen Cool, yeah, also keeps the continuity thing going like the ones at 02:12:836 (1,1)
  13. 03:05:135 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - kinda sad that you skipped a bunch of 1/4s in this section. just after this you managed to follow most/all of them, so it'd be nice if you did it here as well This is more of a warmup section. I didn't really want to use 1/4 right away after the calm parts, so I chose to slowly ease them back into the 1/4s starting with the 1/4 reverse here: 03:07:060 (3)
  14. 03:30:804 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2) - same as 01:08:344 Fixed
  15. 04:01:766 (2,4,5,6) - i felt this a bit confusing when playing for the first time, but now i'm fine with it. just doublecheck if this is definitely what you want in the map, since someone may complain & it may cause a DQ later This is what I wanted, kinda the zigzag flow. But I do see where it could get confusing, so I'll definitely put this in my 'Areas of Concern' log.
  16. 04:02:889 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - ^
  17. 04:05:777 (1) - ctrl+g for the same reason as 02:23 Fixed
  18. 04:24:226 (5) - i'd split this into two notes since this is a rather important beat to be skipped Fixed, not sure about the positions now though
  19. 04:25:670 (1) - ctrl+g for same reason as above I realized that I didn't want the numbers (the '1') to be close to each other. So I instead ended up doing Ctrl+G on these two 04:25:349 (1,1). If the high risk of 100s is a big enough concern to override this, I'll make those changes

  3. 00:38:344 (5) - ^ Fixed
  4. 00:57:274 (3,4,5,6) - skipping a note here, again, felt a bit awkward to play Changed to a 5note stream
  5. 01:01:766 (9) - i'd move this to x69 y360 so it flows directly into 01:01:927 (1) Sure thing, also increased spacing here 03:25:349 (8,9)
  6. 01:06:579 (1,1) - these two are overmapped, while 01:06:258 (1) - actually follows the 1/4 in the song. while it's a nice pattern, i'll have to ask you to remove these sliders ): I think 01:06:659 actually has a faint sound, and uhh I changed this rhythm entirely
  7. 01:09:146 (1,1) - ^
  8. 01:12:194 (1) - there's a rather strong 1/2 beat here, you sure you want to skip it for this 3/4 slider? I'm fine with skipping it because I'm not following those 1/2 du-dun du-dun things anyway. I'd rather emphasize the held sound more, but thanks for asking :D
  9. 01:15:483 (5) - there's no 1/4 here, it should actually be at 01:15:322 Fixed and fixed this one too: 03:38:504 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8)
  10. 01:30:883 (6) - overmapped, there's no 1/4 here I think I'll keep this overmap. I like the current setup and it's not too much of an overmap either
  11. 01:48:772 (2,3) - ^ for the sliderends. well, this seems to apply for a lot of times in the map so i won't mention these anymore since they most likely are intentional Yeah, most of these are definitely intentional. If overmapping 1/2s into 1/4s like these are a concern, I might have to change them :c
  12. 02:21:980 (4) - this beat is really strong, in no way this should've been skipped for the sliderend Fixed
  13. 03:14:760 (7,8) - i really felt like this doesn't work well, the spacing is 1/2-like while the actual difference is 1/4. strongly recommend changing this to normal spacing I changed this to match the rhythm at 00:50:376 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7). But I might change that too...
  14. 04:03:691 (5) - same as 00:35 Fixed
  15. 04:05:135 (2) - ctrl+g to make it less 100'able, especially since the slider doesn't flow into the next stream Fixed
really nice map, felt surprised that you don't have any ranked maps yet, since aside from some questionable rhythm decisions on the later diffs this was actually extremely well done. nice map!

also took me 3 hours to mod this lol

Thanks for the compliment! Hopefully this can be my first ranked map(set) :D
Also took me about 3 hours to apply this mod @_@

Greatly appreciated!

Yeah... I want to put claps on sliderticks too, so I need 2 tick. Is this against the ranking criteria?
[Easy]
  1. 01:14:761 (1) - This overlapping slider can be confusing for new players, consider something more clear. Fixed with previous mod
  2. 01:36:258 (2) - Probably you forgot to change sampleset hitsound to custom. Fixed with previous mod
  3. 01:46:847 (3) - Tbh this slider feels quite meh, 1/1 should be much better. Fixed with previous mod to a 3/4 reverse slider
  4. 02:44:601 (1,2) - I hope patterns like this in Easy diffs are rankable... It's not bad for me, probably some more experienced modders can point this out. Uh... Yeah, I thought a 4 beat gap would be enough to justify a stack in an Easy.
  5. 03:02:248 (4,1) - Consider remove this overlapping? It looks bad imo :p Fixed with previous mod
[Normal]
  1. This is just an idea you can apply in your future maps, as you probably won't implement in this diff: you could use lower SV in slow section at the beginning (00:00:000 - 00:10:590), 0.8 would be fine; now these sliders seem too fast paced compared to music :) Yeap, I did this in my higher difficulties
  2. 00:32:408 (4) - 00:34:975 (4) - 01:34:012 (4) - etc - There are some patterns with slider like this, maybe try to replace them with circle, it should be less confusing for players. It's definitely worth considering, but there is a sound in the sliderends which I thought was worth mapping to.
  3. 00:51:659 (1,2) - Maybe add repeat to both sliders to follow melody? Remember about spacing when applying. I remember being told to not put more than one reverse in Easy and Normals, so I think it's better to leave a gap.
  4. 02:22:301 (3) - Similar situation, you can try to add repeat for this slider and remove 02:22:622 (4)? I think if I kept the previous 1/2 gap circles, I should keep this since the song is much more intense here.
  5. 02:48:451 (4) - Hmmmm Ctrl+J for better transition with previous slider? Something like this. Fixed
  6. 03:00:804 (3) - I'm not 100% sure, but this slider with gap before would be confusing, you can try to Ctrl+G this slider and move 03:00:322 (2) easily. Moved around some stuff here.
  7. 03:03:852 (3,4,5) - Huh that's a nice pattern, but I wonder if it's not too much for Normal :p It's... questionable for sure. But I couldn't really think of any other pattern that could represent this specific part of the song. Any ordinary 1/2 pattern would just look similar to the rest of the map.
[Hard]
  1. Try OD 6 for this difficulty, 5 is kinda low for Hard. Sure!
  2. 00:25:991 (1) - Placement of this circle is just bad, you can discard DS and move it up :p Fixed with previous mod
  3. 00:56:793 (1) - Possibly change this slider to something circular? Tbh it doesn't flow good with the previous one. Fixed
  4. 01:06:419 (1,1) - 01:08:986 (1,1) - Remove these NCs as they can be confusing with these spaced sliders in this section. Fixed along with: 03:30:163 (4,5,4,5)
  5. 01:57:355 (2) - This slider can be uncomfortable for players as this is probably the only circle placed in blue tick (not counting triples and streams) I figured 3 bars of the same 3/4 reverse sliders is probably enough time for players to adjust to the rhythm
  6. 02:22:782 (1,2) - This spacing can be read as 1/4 so players would treat the five as starting at 02:23:344. Consider changing shape of the slider, you can ignore distance snapping. I moved this up: 02:23:424 (2)
  7. 03:05:777 (3,4) - I don't really like flow here... Maybe something like this? (Note you'll need to resnap these sliders) The idea I have here is that all the 4th beats in this section get special recognition - with increased SV, breaking of "comfortable" flow, and/or using red slider anchors. I'm fine with this one here.
[Insane]
  1. OD 7.5 or even 8 would be great for this diff! Fixed!
  2. 00:11:232 (3) - 00:12:515 (3) - These objects would be nice but mapped as 1/2 sliders, just like here 00:13:798 (3). Now you avoid quite important sounds. I can hear the sounds there, but I wanted more emphasis on the clap sound. To create kind of an resonating feel?
  3. 03:28:077 (4) - Is this jump intentional? Most definitely is, as was 01:04:333 (4)
  4. 04:33:879 (2) - Try Ctrl+G on this slider, it should flow much better Fixed
[Euphoria]
  1. 00:11:232 (3) - 00:12:515 (3) - Same as in Insane diff. Me too.
  2. 00:57:355 - Hm, there's no circle here but you put it at 00:57:515? It's probably a mistake, you should "move" this triple. Fixed with previous mod
  3. 01:49:814 (2,3,4,5) - What do you wanted to follow with these objects? Melody or drums? :p If melody, these circles are not snapped to actual melody (it's more 1/3). If drums (hi-hats), you should replace it with triple 01:49:895 - 01:50:055. Yeahhhh this part was a mess LOL Fixed this, hopefully it's better now
  4. 01:51:339 (2,3) - You should space these objects more to emphasize different spacing (1/3). You put basically same spacing as in 1/4 streams in this section. Ooh good point, yep
  5. 01:58:077 (5) - I can't hear anything on the blue tick, imo this slider should be 1/2 without repeats. While you're right, I wanted to express that buzz sound with a reverse slider. I think I even considered 1/8 reverse here at one point
  6. 01:58:397 (1,2) - I hope this SV change won't be confusing for players, these 1/2 sliders have almost same length as 01:58:077 (5) which is 1/4. I hope so too. Unfortunately I have to slow down dramatically here so I can build up again :(
  7. 02:09:788 (6) - It would be great if this slider followed same pattern/idea as 02:09:146 (4,5). Removed red anchor
  8. 02:17:328 (4) - Try to move this circle more away from 02:17:007 (3). Try something like this? It's quite similar as 02:17:649 (1,2). If I move it there, I don't quite get the same sudden jump effect like how I have it right now. Instead I just moved the circle slightly more left
  9. 02:38:183 (1) - With Ctrl+G on this slider you can get nice continuation of zigzag flow you created with previous sliders. Hmm I like that suggestion too, but I want the pattern with 02:38:183 (1,2) because of the jump that forces the player to go back to the sliderhead of (1)
  10. 03:04:012 (2,2,2,2) - Just aesthetics, try to rearrange these circles, now they're look random... You made a nice circular pattern with 03:03:852 (1,1,1,1) - so why 2s do look different? Ooh this is a good idea, I made a curve pattern with them while keeping the Up-down-Up-Up spacing
  11. 03:05:456 (2) - Aesthetics again, try to move this slider a bit left, you can get a much better spacing between objects. Fixed
  12. 03:15:082 (9) - Maybe put NC to emphasize build-up and SV change? Sure. I'll do this for Insane too.
  13. 03:25:349 (8,9) - You can increase SV as in 03:15:082 (9,10) and new NC at (8). Fixed here and in the Insane.
  14. 03:34:814 (2,4) - Wow, any reason to put that high SV? I think 1.1 as in 03:34:494 - should be fine, 1.5 here feels so sudden. Instead I calmed this part down a bit and made the increase more gradual. Capped the SV off at 1.4. (Also fixed same section in early part of song)
  15. 03:39:226 (5) - You should remove this circle, it doesn't follow anything; this circle is placed incorrectly especially because there's ignored sound at 03:39:066 - which is just part of slider :v Fixed with previous mod
  16. 04:04:012 (6) - Hm, this circle would be actually removed. Fixed with previous mod
  17. 04:04:173 (1,2,3) - This triple would work much better as 1/2 slider, I can't hear any sound that can defend any object at blue tick here, also the red tick doesn't even need to be clickable as the sound which appears at 04:04:333 is very mild. Fixed with previous mod
Despite some wrong placed/overmapped notes and imo overused SV changes, this is a very solid mapset. Hitsounds are just great and I like the fact you mapped all difficulties for a really long song so all diffs are mapped consistently, I don't see that very often nowadays. I like it :)
Thanks very much for the mod!
I liked the aesthetics part you pointed out, and the fact that you mentioned much of the same points mentioned by Mismagius just reassures that taking his suggestion was for the better :D I hope a lot of the overmap/misplaced notes have been fixed now with the previous mod and your mod. Glad you liked the hitsounds :)

EDIT: Thanks for the star \o/

Not sure if where the map is located is the problem, I think it's just the use of the song in general thats the issue. Might be futile, but it could be worth trying to contact a_hisa.

I was going to mod this, but I feel like Mismagius has pointed out all of the major flaws, and my eyes don't really notice much that could be improved, so I don't really think I could write an actual mod for this, sorry!

I enjoyed playing it though (Euphoria and Insane), so hopefully you get this ranked some point in the future!

Once again, I do apologise for not having a mod for you, there's just not much I could improve without changing fundamentals of the map.

I tried contacting a_hisa through his website and his email, but got no response. But I still really really wanted to map one of his pieces for ranked, and this was the one. So... the download for this map will likely be blocked once it gets ranked.

Anyhow, thanks for taking a look!

Hi~ ^^

From Team Frontline Modding Queue

nice map btw. Just little modding, (because I think this map not have too many problem)

Hard diff:
00:26:954 - someone ever tell me if this strong beat must be placed with circle or head slider. So I think this 00:26:793 (4) - change to 1/2 and add circle to 00:27:114 -

01:11:873 (4,5,6,7) - can you change this to repeat slider? xD
02:10:911 (1) - ; 02:16:044 (1) - remove NC

I hope it will help :)

01:11:873 (4,5,6,7) - can you change this to repeat slider? xD Seems fine to me, the drum beats are fairly audible
02:10:911 (1) - ; 02:16:044 (1) - remove NC These NCs are to group the pattern into two 1-2s

I hope it will help :)
No change, but thanks for taking your time to look at my map!

Saw your NM request and your lack of profile picture gives me anxiety

「Hard」

  1. 00:09:788 - A strong sound falls on the downbeat and could mislead players without a filler note on the red tick
  2. 00:25:189 (2) - The red anchor in the note seems accidental
  3. 02:10:911 (1) & 02:16:044 - Fix the triangle

「Euphoria」

  1. 00:05:456 - Hitsounding gets noticeably louder
  2. It's too well made to find anything
