I just made a tool this morning in Java, it allows you to change your cursor and your cursortrail with every single one that you have on your skin folder, it is pretty easy to use, i hope you like it 
UPDATE: I just remembered about the cursormiddle.png that actually controls the length of the trail, so I added an option to create a blank cursormiddle.png or erase it c:
