  1. 00:00:151 (1) - I know this is the very start of the map but I think this would work really well as separate notes with dashes instead. The sounds are strong and this beatmap gets way more intense than this so I don't think it's overkill to have at the start. Same would go for all similar sliders in the intro, 00:02:893 (1) - 00:05:636 (1) - 00:11:122 (1) - 00:13:865 (1) - 00:16:608 (1) -
  2. 00:25:351 (1) - This is following a pretty weak sound but the current SV pretty much matches the catcher movement speed so I'd recommend throwing some tilt on this
  3. 00:34:008 (1,2,3,4,5) - These sounds are still quite weak, can be hard to distinguish them so I'd suggest keeping movement pretty light here, no dashes and fewer direction changes
  4. 00:39:836 (1,2,3) - Would prefer a strong walk to a dash
  5. 00:44:036 - The stream starting about here builds up really nicely, however I feel it gets a bit too intense too quickly. I think it would help to use as close as possible to minimum hyper distance until around 00:51:236 - where you could start to gradually increase it
  6. 01:10:093 (1,2) - There's a cool sound you could follow that would add a little more variety here. Try extending both these sliders to the blue tick and using a pattern like this with some slight antiflow 1/4 hypers, same for 01:21:065 (1,2) -
  7. 01:27:665 (5,6,1) - I'm finding this fairly tricky to hit, would be nice of you to nerf 01:27:665 (5,6) - so there's no hyper between them for scrubs like me
  8. 01:37:522 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - This is easier to hit than it looks but it's still very uncomfortable with strong hypers into strong antiflow. I'd recommend nerfing the antiflow a bit on the sliders so it's still intense but a little easier
  9. 02:07:182 (4) - Possible to make this fully horizontal just to make the movement across this flow as best it can
  10. 02:17:274 (10,11) - Direction changes on this feels off, 02:17:424 (11) - is quite weak, certainly when compared to the sound around it. I think it would be better to get rid of the direction change here and do a cheeky quick Ctrl+H flip on all of 02:17:574 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,1) -
  11. 02:26:874 (10,11) - Same point as above though I don't see a quick easy way to adjust this
  12. 03:00:774 (1,1) - Distance is just a little high, easy to get caught out here after losing some concentration during the break
  13. 04:02:764 (3,4,5,6) - This pattern is a little tricky and 04:03:107 (4) - feels quite overemphasised, 1/4 hyper double direction change is damn intense. I'd recommend not using a hyper to 04:03:107 (4) - at all though looking at the pattern you've used at 04:13:735 (3,4,5,6) - this one is not nearly as hard due to the lack of direction change between 04:13:735 (3,4) - so you could do the same as that instead
  14. 04:42:192 - In this section the sounds you're following gradually fade out but the patterns remain the same intensity. Would be nice to reduce the movement on these sliders as the song fades out

Try extending both these sliders to the blue tick and using a pattern like this with some slight antiflow 1/4 hypers, same for 01:21:065 (1,2) - I'm trying to follow both the strong, loud snare sounds audible 01:08:379 - here for example and adding a fairly strong hyperdash every two measures or so for hyper placement on this section of the kiai, so no, it's intended to be like this.
  7. 01:27:665 (5,6,1) - I'm finding this fairly tricky to hit, would be nice of you to nerf 01:27:665 (5,6) - so there's no hyper between them for scrubs like me both are loud snare sounds, so nope, keeping it, it also offers a nice rhythm input pattern so that you actually follow both sounds with your keys, emphasizing them better.
  8. 01:37:522 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - This is easier to hit than it looks but it's still very uncomfortable with strong hypers into strong antiflow. I'd recommend nerfing the antiflow a bit on the sliders so it's still intense but a little easier Same reason as before, if I nerfed the antiflow on the sliders it'd be a lot less emphasized as a drop of the consistent rhythm the second kiai was keeping until now. It also acts as an input pattern as the previous point.
  9. 02:07:182 (4) - Possible to make this fully horizontal just to make the movement across this flow as best it can sure

Not really following intensity anymore, since the whole 200bpm section is pretty much the zenith of the entire track and I want to adequate the players to the sudden crescendo of BPM for the first half of the section, while starting to follow previously mentioned intensity from 02:31:974 - onwards with the constant 1/4 hypers.

I don't think so, there's a full 1/1 beat of distance between the spinnerend and the note, I also pretty much implied to the player that the fruit was gonna be on the left side by placing 04:29:507 (8) - to the right side, that way the player will instinctively move to the left.

  2. 00:25:351 (1) - the slider sounds like it's mapped to vocals but it's actually not, so I'd just remove it entirely.
  3. Actually after playing through it you're better off adding a spinner at 00:22:093 - and ending at 00:27:579 - and another one at 00:39:922 - to 00:43:693 - or something, the vocal snaps sound really off
  4. 01:15:751 (2,3,4,5) - these sound off, they feel much better at 1/4 and simplifying it
  5. 01:16:265 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - these ones are snapped fine but i think simplifying it to 1/4 makes it easier
  6. 02:41:874 (2,3) - try x:216 here, pretty far from the previous note
  7. 03:21:278 - would be cool here if you gradually decreased distances, like starting from a stronger hyper and ending the pattern at 03:22:992 - on no hyper
  8. 03:38:078 (2,3) - no clue why this is 1/4, nothing changes here
  9. 03:43:564 (2,3) - and again. if you're trying to emphasize the pitch change, idk if 1/4 is the best choice, and if you decide to keep the 1/4, delete the hdash at least. this applies to further cases of this in the kiais.
  10. 04:29:850 (1) - wobs

saw this in #catch, thought "oh i liked dark thunder let's check this one out", then noticed the timing is pretty wonk
first offset should be at ~134, nothing else really needs to be touched though
they're all at most maybe 3-4 ms off except for the first one which is 17 off

  1. 00:09:751 (1) - missing some cool wub stream potential here where? can't hear any wubs, and I was following bass sounds in the first place anyway so yeah not doing it for consistency sake.
  2. 00:25:351 (1) - the slider sounds like it's mapped to vocals but it's actually not, so I'd just remove it entirely.
  3. Actually after playing through it you're better off adding a spinner at 00:22:093 - and ending at 00:27:579 - and another one at 00:39:922 - to 00:43:693 - or something, the vocal snaps sound really off replaced all the sliders with two simple spinners placed at the end of the first section and the beginning of the buildup.
  4. 01:15:751 (2,3,4,5) - these sound off, they feel much better at 1/4 and simplifying it
  5. 01:16:265 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - these ones are snapped fine but i think simplifying it to 1/4 makes it easier 01:15:731 (2,3,4,5,6) - left these snapped the way they are, but resnapped 01:16:416 (2,3) - these to 1/4, hopefully it works better now.
  6. 02:41:874 (2,3) - try x:216 here, pretty far from the previous note uh, I think you meant x:316 (x:216 leaves the object at the left side of the playfield). Anyway I used x:361, should work better there.
  7. 03:21:278 - would be cool here if you gradually decreased distances, like starting from a stronger hyper and ending the pattern at 03:22:992 - on no hyper 03:22:935 (3,4) - removed hyper between these.
  8. 03:38:078 (2,3) - no clue why this is 1/4, nothing changes here I'm following the same sounds I followed on the first kiai (01:07:673 (2,3) - these) that, although hard to listen to, are definitely still there. Doing this both for consistency and for variety's sake, since not having them mapped leaves the section a bit boring IMO.

oops, by deleting the vocal section, this map is no longer 5 min drain.

However, you could add spinners in the other break times to fix this!

  1. 00:20:188 (7,8) - Should be a normal dash, (8) doesn't have the same strenght as 00:16:245 (9) - etc so it's better to stay consistent with 00:11:102 (1,2,3) -
  2. 00:22:245 (1) - Why not end this on the white tick there lul
  3. 00:44:016 (1,2,3,4,5) - these notes are almost inaudiable, consider increasing the volume
  4. 00:44:959 (10,1) - 00:46:331 (8,1) - 00:47:616 (12,1) - do u need hdashes here? the song is still extremely calm... I'd overall reduce the amount of hdashes in this buildup.
  5. 01:35:959 (5,1) - should be hyper for consistency
  6. 03:38:078 (2,3) - 03:43:564 (2,3) - both of these hypers are imo unfitting, it's a 1/4 hdash which feels a lot stronger than any other 1/2 hdash in this kiai yet it hits the sound of almost nothingess. please remove
  7. 03:49:050 (2,3) - this one is even worse than above because sliderend of (3) is the strong beat, yet it's on a slider tail.
  8. 05:04:135 (1) - I also think this slider should end here 05:17:850 - there's no sound after this.

There's also the fact that if I change that one you're pointing I'd have to change 00:09:216 (7,8) - this one too and I'd rather keep both.

  4. 00:44:959 (10,1) - 00:46:331 (8,1) - 00:47:616 (12,1) - do u need hdashes here? the song is still extremely calm...
