I listed the diffs in the order I modded them in. If you see something that could be applied to the other diffs, please do it.
General01:12:004 (367) - Lower diffs have a spinner here, but higher diffs have a break instead. I think putting a slider on all diffs would be best, since there’s kind of a rolling sound in the background that would suit better than a spinner. Also has a spread issue since lower diffs have stuff the higher ones don’t.
01:12:004 (367) - also end kiai here
01:32:530 (519) - This section isn’t using ⅓ or ½ or snaps that increase. Timing points need to be used, where the bpm decreases on each sound. (It’s a bit like how
this set increases speed on each timing point at 01:51:255 - 1, but your song’s bpm is going down.)
Muzukashii
00:36:162 (50,51) - Change to kkd, using ks will make the pattern less monotonous since there's lots of ds already.
00:37:110 (56) - 00:42:163 (76) - Add k, since there's very little going on with the rhythm, you might as well map the unique things to keep it interesting
00:37:899 (59) - Change to D or k, you've used d to map the same kick for 30 seconds, mapping this new sound with d doesn't emphasise anything.
00:38:530 (60) - Can't leave such a strong sound unmapped, k is fine
00:41:057 (69) - change to k, when song changes, patterns should change. + consistent with 00:41:530 (73) - having the same sound to k
00:44:372 (85) - 00:45:004 (88) - No sound here, remove them and add a k at 00:44:688 (86) - instead, as song is more intense there.
00:45:872 (92) - Better to have the triple at 00:46:346 (95) - , as
00:47:609 (100) - Not too sure why there’s a random k on the ¼, mapping a repetitive song means you can’t have too many inconsistencies like this.
00:58:425 (151) - If you’re using K on this sound, might as well do it at 00:53:057 (127,128,129) - 01:03:162 (172) - so that those parts have more unique patterns
01:17:688 (233,234,235,236) - Try and avoid major composition differences between similar parts, eg 01:15:162 (223,224,225) - have very different object densities but are pretty much the same
01:31:109 (303) - Deleting this would make this pattern a bit easier, too hard compared to the previous sections.
Oni
00:23:372 (64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71) - Considering how faint this buzz is, a spinner / slider would be more suitable
00:29:057 (76) - The drop is SV is too high compared to the previous ones. While it goes 1, 0.9, 0.8, 0.7, 0.5, the actual drop in SV is different.
Relative to the previous SV, it goes 0.9, 0.88, 0.875, 0.71, (Current SV / Previous SV). You can see why the last one is too much of a drop.
00:36:162 (98,99,100,101) - ddkk would be easier to play and fits wub better. Same for the other 1/6s
00:37:899 (111) - D for strong sound
00:48:636 (190) - Like in general, K and D can really be used to emphasise some of the interesting sounds here. K works well to make this unique.
Futsuu
00:24:004 (21) - Don’t use SV changes on Futsuu / Kantan.
00:39:162 (42) - D, there’s a finish so using variety is more interesting
00:52:109 (19) - Here you go 32/1 without any 2/1 breaks, make sure there’s one every 16/1 or 20/1
01:04:425 (1,2,3,4,5) - There’s so many changes between 1.5/1, 1/1, and ½ rhythms. Would it be possible to simplify some of these patterns so there’s less different kinds of patterns used?
01:14:215 (1) - Patterns in this section are a bit dull, you can use k for things that aren’t just the snare. Use it to highlight the high vocals, or add some variety.
01:39:794 (14) - D for finish
Overall, it probably would have been a good idea to have chosen a different song. It has some nice parts, but it’s really really repetitive, which created inconsistencies that differ too much from each other and some weird patterns, it's just really difficult to map this song well. A different song would have let you try more different rhythms, patterns, and ideas.
