Thoughts on my own alt mapping:
Initially, the first few alt maps i did that are ranked, took patterns i was bad at and just dumped them into a map and made it the central piece of it so i could practice.Though unfortunately my mapping time ended up being more than the time i spent playing so i never did get a chance to improve lol.
I hope for the people that find my maps patterns being too dumb or unnecessarily difficult, to revisit the maps in the future, when your current pool of alt maps start to feel too easy!
My goal nowadays has been to find ways to keep the idea of alt maps being simple,easy to read,fairly jumpless but strangely difficult.
side note: I hope more mappers explore AR8 DT alt mapping, you get to do things you normally dont get to do.
