is there a way i can deactivate the discord notification popups on the top left when i'm in a game? it gives me a bit of a frame lag each time someone messages during gameplay.

i've tried disabling the in-game overlay on discord and it didn't work, and messed around with the settings on osu.

Turn on Do Not Disturb or look around Discord's settings more? There is an entire section for notifications.

osu! does not have anything to do with Discord's notifications, there is no way you can disable another application's notifications in-game.
