beginner (☆1) - made for people who are just starting out with 7k, osu!mania or any vertically scrolling rhythm game.
easy (☆3) - a step up from beginner, this difficulty puts practice on your hand coordination.
hydria's normal (☆7) - challenge yourself with unorthodox rhythms with this difficulty.
ancul's hard (☆10) - be prepared for a good amount of short streams and chords that come into play.
insane (★2) - the pattern density and complexity go up as you progress in this difficulty. keep your wits up as you go further.
pope's another (★8) - be aware of sv changes that match the mood of the song, as well as fast, dense patterns coming your way. this difficulty also introduces minijacks into the mix, and there will be more of that in the later difficulties.
jinjin's extra (★14) - this difficulty has heavy patterns waiting to rush in very quickly. these can end your play if you mess up even slightly, so be sure to keep yourself in place with this one.
torrent (★20) - a torrent of dense patterns surge towards you, which get heavier and heavier the further down you go. you'll need to have a great amount of stamina, coordination and speed so the high drain, accuracy judgment and the rush of heavy patterns don't take their heavy toll on you. good luck, and don't lose yourself in the flood.
