I can't see any problems with the map design or timing, but the background only displays for Fira.
EDIT: Star.

This is a surprise... even I can't argue about anything on this map. Offset is already on the right track, and the BPM is only like 0.02 off of what I suggest (I arrived at 85.02 o_O).

This is good work, I must say -- though the sliders do look like elongated etnas, which is kinda weird, but that seems to be a highlight on this map so I'm not gonna criticize that.

Love the map, perfect in every feasible way.

Very well-done map. The only error I see is the somewhat challenging sliders in Fire:

00:40:92 (5) - A lot of repeats, user becomes unsure of when to end. Not too bad; should be easy enough for people who play the song multiple times.
00:50:81 (9) - Doesn't point directly to 10, suggesting (just for a split second) that 9 is going to repeat so it ends closer to 10.

These are just minor quibbles. I especially like the dynamic hitsound volume - even though I'm not familiar with the song or its origin, I'll probably have this stuck in my head the rest of the day. Starred.

Thanks, made those changes. You were right, that slider was a little confusing. I decided to cut out a few beats and so the last slider is the same length as the first. And that 9 should have been pointing to 10, that was a fluke. You've got a good eye :D

Also, it's from Final Fantasy IX from Squaresoft. Pretty great game ;)

Okay, time for some modding after a lengthy spell of mapping and storyboarding orz

I'm personally satisfied with the map itself. However, the combo lengths vary a lot - as short as 1 and as many as 16, even 17. As such, my modding will be focused on where to add/remove such combos, but there is one actual note-placement modification I want you to be aware of.

00:20:45 (1,2,3,1) - Remove both new-combos.
00:28:92 (1) - Remove the new-combo.
00:48:69 (7) - I suggest new-combo.
01:06:86 (7) - I suggest new-combo.
01:17:98 (3) - Remove the new-combo.
01:20:10 (1) - Remove the new-combo.
01:27:16 (1,1,1) - No need for the new-combo although I'm quite privy to what you're trying here. To me, though, it's really aesthetic without a true purpose and as such doesn't warrant new-comboing everything.
01:29:63 (1,1,1) - Same as above.
01:35:28 (10) - I suggest new-combo.
01:41:63 (1) - Remove the new-combo.
01:44:45 (1) - Remove the new-combo.
01:55:04 (1) - Personally, I feel this is somewhat redundant. Essentially you're creating your own tune by mapping to nothing here. I suggest removing this totally, although, unless a BAT ratifies my opinion then you are free to keep it.
02:21:86 (8) - I suggest new-combo.
02:46:92 (1) - Remove the new-combo.

Phew, what transpired upstairs is a series of unfortunate combos. /me gets shot.

00:27:87 (3) - Spacing. Move this one 2 grids up and 1 grid right using Detail level 3 grids.
00:28:92 (1) - Remove new combo.
00:41:28 (5,1) - Remove from 1, add to 5.

Lemme take a breather from all that new combo talk and explain why I picked on your new combos specifically.
The general idea of new combos to me goes something like "if there's a gap, use a new combo to denote that new time gap so as not to throw players off. To me, new combos are there to denote the start of a new set of rhythm, and what I'm seeing here is random new-comboing at best, very messy and badly organised. No personal offence to you, no matter how much it looked. I just think you really need to take a good look at how you organise your new combos when mapping, and I may be blasted by another BAT for being such a prick, though I stand by what I mod =D

Okay, let's get this over and done with, shall we?

00:46:92 (1,6) - Remove from 1, add to 6.
01:29:63 (5) - Add new combo.
01:35:28 (5) - Add new combo.
01:39:16 (1) - Remove new combo.
01:43:39 (1) - Remove new combo.
01:45:87 (7) - Add new combo.
01:50:45 (1,2) - One very, very yawning gap here which I dislike even if it was meant to be "easy." My suggestion would be - shorten to a non-repeat slider, add a slider that starts from 01:51:16 to where 2 is. Add a new combo at 3 after this.
01:55:04 (1) - Remove new combo.

Okay I'm done... for now. Basically, you got the basic ideas right, but the new combos are a horrid sight if you ask me =(

Uhm, i don't know if it's me, but timing seems to go a little late at the end :?

- Fire:
00:58:22 (1,2,3,4,5) - This sections needs hitsounds imho. What about whistles at the end of each slider?
Why the break at 1:55? O.o

- Fira:
01:35:28 (6) - move 1 square down
02:46:48 (5) - should start at white tick, then remove a repetition and move 1 square left
02:48:34 (7) - 1 square down (nazi :P )

Whoa, this is very good! °-°

Anyway, there's just a couple of issues, mostly alignment (or maybe alignment is the only thing I'm good at noticing XDD), so I'll list here what I've seen

Firaga (Grid level 3):

01:24:692 to 01:25:398 (3,4,5) - This is purely a matter of aesthetics and personal taste, and it's totally optional, but I'd try to find a nicer placement for these hits, to give the combo a "rounder" look.
01:45:163 to 01:45:516 (8,9,10) - These look a bit weird. You can fix this in various ways, like moving 9 or 8, but that's up to you. I suggest you to fix it anyway, since it's quite noticeable even while playing.

Fire (Grid level 3):

00:14:458 (3) - Move this 2 squares to the left



And that's pretty much it. Fira and Firaga are actually full of sliders and combos with weird shapes, but I guess that's intentional.
By the way, this is one of the best maps I've seen in a while, so of course, starred

00:15:51 (4) - This should return twice, going 'till 00:15:87,
00:16:22 (X) - Then place a circle here
00:25:75 (1,2,3,4) - SUGGESTION: Maybe delete these and turn them into a break. That would add up to the "feel" in this map
00:42:34 (2,3,4) - Make these a returning slider. Would be better for an easy
00:42:69 (4) - Once you've done that, change this slider. It should start at 00:43:40 and end at 00:44:81
00:45:87 (1,2) - Lol? What are these doing here?
00:46:92 (3,4,5) - Change these. Returning slider from 3 to 5's start, then a circle at 5's end
00:53:63 (X) - Place a circle here
00:56:45 (X) - Same
01:13:04 (1) - Impromptu spinner. Can't you just lengthen the break more? that way it's 11 secs long. Longer than average, but still in the suggested limits
01:20:81 (8) - Ugly. Is this from something in the game?
01:43:39 (4) - New combo
01:48:69 (8) - return once more

Fira

00:12:69 (4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - Hard for a normal. Make like 00:18:34 (4)
01:13:04 (1) - see Fire
01:51:51 (B) - Break here
01:54:69 (1) - Combo mark shoud be on (2)
02:07:04 (7,8,9,10,11,12,13) - Again, really difficult for normal. This IS a normal, right?
02:23:45 (5) - Doesn't fit anywhere
02:27:51 (5) - This should be on 1/6 snap
02:36:34 (5) - Make this a non-returning slider.
02:37:39 (6,7,8,9,10,11,12) - see 02:07:04
02:41:28 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - All of these could be sliders till the red mark after themselves
02:46:22 (4,5) - (5) fits with the drumroll, but it should start where (4) is.

Firaga (remove the "!", you don't go all "insane!" either)

00:34:22 (6) - Cleanup, it should go 'till 00:35:63, and then place a circle at 00:35:99
00:42:69 (9,10) - More ugly-ish sliders. Can you make them turn at the red and white ticks?
00:51:16 (9) - Ugly slider
00:54:51 (7) - Doesn't fit
00:57:33 (7) - same
01:03:86 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Too many sliders. Use more circles too toughen up this map.
01:10:22 (4) - Straithen this, or make it turn once
01:22:22 (7,8) - Spacing
01:26:45 (1,2,3,4) - Ugly
01:30:33 (7,1) - (1)'s return is invisible because of (7)
01:39:16 (4,5,6) - Where did the stream go?
01:44:45 (4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - There it is!
