Just to reconfirm stuff:

1) Nowhere in NARUTO does this song appear.
2) This is a sweet song, generally speaking. Lovey dovey, and it's SMAP. These two elements seem closely associated, no? =x
3) I'm pretty sure the SB isn't screwed up, but the .osb might still need some tweaking.
4) The confirmed pairings in this one are: NaruHina, SasuSaku, ChojiIno, NejiTen, AsuKure, TsunaJira. Oh and not forgetting ShikaTema <3
5) This is still a draft. Will edit this one as I update the .osu.

01/03/09: March into a slightly edited SB. I was desperately trying to avoid having to full submit again but looks like with a complex story that is a pipe dream at best >.>;;;

Also: Credited m980 with INIS Style, using the title cards. That was the least I could do, but right now the SB is still incomplete because of LuigiHann's recommended tweaks not being done.

Also #2: Even though the SB is still not exactly done in certain aspects, I felt that the new spinner stuff I got from [HanyouMiko] was too hard to overlook. I also took the SB revamp opportunity to properly credit the right people. Don't skip the SB at the start and take a look for yourself =3

19/03/09: Screw "skipping the SB", I made my skip button disappear >:D
Also, updates for kiai time (lucky I wasn't rushing through my map development on this one, or I would've missed kiai time) and Hard is improving from being a rough draft to being a less rough draft D:

14/04/09: Goodness, I'm nowhere near done with Hard even though the rest are. I really have to give this a bump.

4 and a half minutes of Naruto storyboarding, I think you should delete this right now. If you're going to use those timing sections for anything, make sure to place them 1/4 back.

Hard:

00:28:32 (4) - Don't cover sliders like that.
01:05:28 (1) - It's too close to the last note.
01:14:16 (4) - This is a strange way to use claps.
01:40:32 (1,5) - Don't overlap like this.




I can find nothing really wrong, so I'm going to suggest and 'iNiS wouldn't do that' you to death. This is far from traditional.

Combos are a bit short the whole way through. I'll point out the main offenders throughout the map. I don't mind short combos that help recover, so I'll leave those. More HP Drain, too.

iNiS Insane:

All of the 1/4 circles in the first section everywhere. iNiS rarely, if ever, used 1/4 notes and when they did, they weren't synced with the vocals.
00:53:04 (3) - Switch to a slider
00:56:64 - Big break here. That's strange.
01:15:60 (1) - Doesn't feel right on a single combo and I think a curved circular shape may help it, too.
01:18:00 (1) - Remove new combo.
01:20:40 (1,2) - Back on that 'iNiS wouldn't do this' issue right here. The combo is too short even for recovery and doesn't fit. Maybe you should swap that circle on the last combo for a slider.
01:25:20 (1) - Remove new combo.
01:29:04 (1) - Remove new combo.
01:30:00 (1) - Remove new combo.
01:31:92 (1) - What I said for 01:20:40.
01:33:36 (1) - Remove new combo.
01:52:08 (1) - Strange.
01:53:76 (1) - Remove new combo, but only if you are keeping that slider, or a similar pattern. I'm indecisive about keeping it as it is with the slider intact.
01:55:92 (1) - Again, it's strange. If you're keeping it, make it curvy. Whistle sounds ugly.

You're spamming whistles everywhere ahead. Decide where to use them appropriately.

It's a reverse-burai slider. Last time I checked, burai sliders are also frowned upon.

I didn't know burai sliders were *Unrankable* material. Last I checked, there was something Zettai love x love Sengen? Can't remember, but I know there were sliders like that and it got ranked.

I wonder if a change to those patterns will ruin my intended messages in the mapping.

There's no true consensus on whether those are rankable. Bout half the mods said "never" and the other half said "in some cases." I said they're only okay in Hard and up.

In your case, I don't see the purpose of 03:37:74 (2). Can you make an argument for it? It's so close to being a normal slider that the tiny overlap at the top looks like a glitch.

I actually like the visual/rhythmic effect of 03:55:50 (1), but I think you should make sure Grid Snap is on (and temporarily disable distance snap) to make sure it's a straight, vertical slider, as right now it's ever-so-slightly off, which makes the overlap not look clean. I would also very heavily encourage you to storyboard in an arrow indicating the initial direction of the slider, and perhaps another pointing backward at the "bare" end of the slider. This I suggest mostly so that players would realize that it's a non-standard slider and not a broken slider, which might be a natural assumption.
