Rick May, the voice behind Soldier from Team Fortress 2, passed away aged 79 on the 8th of April 2020 fighting COVID-19.
I really cannot put into words how much I appreciate the work he has done for Team Fortress 2, the life and character that he gave to Soldier is to this day still one of the most memorable voice acting roles out there and his voice and work will be both forever immortalized in both Team Fortress 2 and the heart of the community of TF2.
