I posted a topic...oh I dunno...a month ago? Yeah, about a beatmap that wouldn't go into OSU! Um...I just found out why. When I go to the songs folder on OSU! on my computer, the folder with the beatmap and info and all that? Yeah, it's empty. No matter how many times I redownload it, it's always empty. Help?

Are you sure you sure you are downloading from the Official Site? (You can also download from Pending/Help/Graveyard)
Have you made sure to either:
a. save the .osz/.zip in the songs folder
b. Selected "Open with [osu!]"/Open if the option came up when you downloaded it
c. Used the drag-and-drop method
These are the three main ways to import maps you download from the site onto osu! A good idea, if they don't seem to show up in-game is to click F5 on the song selection screen. And if it seems that one method isn't working for you, I would advise trying one of the other methods.

You haven't even mentioned the beatmap's name that isn't working. Lame.
