About the Video (Meta)
While my choice to make a video instead of a storyboard is a controversial choice, I hope everyone can enjoy it all the same. Just as songs made specifically for osu! are rare, videos are even moreso.
In that light I wanted to do something that would be basically impossible as a storyboard, something new, and new possibilities.
There's been some stuff about like "why a video won community vote for a contest about storyboarding?"... Well first of all, they were treated as equals in this contest which was a really exciting opportunity. Also, I hope other people can realize we're doing the same thing: making cool visual experiences to accompany our maps and chosen songs.
I'd like to see more specifically made videos for osu! in the future and will work towards that as well as improving my own skills. Both videos and storyboarding have their pros and cons, so I'll just use what I think works best for each project idea that I have.
