[Archived] Song Made Never Found?

I made a beatmap today, it turned out nifty and all, and when i went to play it, it wasn't there. I know it saved cause when you test in the editor it makes you save. So I know it was saved, but when i go to play it, I click the song and it refreshes the list, taking me to a tetris song every time. I went to the editor and the song was never made...Just the MP3 there. Any clues?

Check to see if you have any .osu_ files in your osu! root folder.

If you don't, then your map's probably gone for good. Perform a search in your osu! directory to make sure.

Try dragging the same mp3 into the edit menu again, that sometimes makes it reappear...

this happened to me recently.when i first clicked on the song it disappeared. and it showed up randomly. now when go to play it it does the tetris thing. In edit mode all it shows is the mp3

if your map disappears from the listing you should instantly press F5 at song select, should bring it up.

mine disappear right after i uploaded my map and some how a blank map was created. how do i get rid of the blank map.
