It's been like this for a while, and it's difficult to reproduce.
I've hit it several times myself.
This happens in the editor and while playing. It's around the same spot in the screen (here, it's in the top-left area of the timeline, and below the HP bar in-game).

Oh, ok. ^^
I'm getting this while editing, but much more frequently, just since the last patch. (Or at least that's when I first noticed it? D:) I wasn't going to post because I thought it was just me but.
About 1/3 of my clicks on the timeline take me back to roughly the first timing section's start. The only way I know so far to avoid this is make sure whatever I'm selecting is on the far left or right side of the timeline before I click, which is rather inconvenient and makes for difficult modding. D: Is there something I can do to fix this? I can upload screens or anything like that if needed.
Edit: I figured out where the box is and it's shape/size more or less. Clicking in it takes me back 100% of the time and I believe never outside it.
