Using the bg image as storyboard image makes the bg disappea [Denied]

The background disappears right after the storyboard image is not used anymore.

Just for those who weren't informed directly by m980, this is in place to reduce lag. Having the background appear twice is overkill, so if you storyboard it the original will not appear.
