seriously don't know why she has the chat filter on >.> I told her to turn it off. :P lazy bastard.

So simply, "swearing" inside normal words are getting censored. Don't think it should be doing this! >.<

Why would it be censored? It's 3 letters within another word which is used to spell it. It's not like somehow somebody's gonna be like, "Title" and then this guy is like "WHOA HAY HE SAID TIT INSIDE TITLE!!1!" I mean, it's not going to be sticking out there and totally obvious unless we're saying shitake mushroom (it's spelt shiitake mushroom apparently but people spell it shitake). So maybe we'll just add a whole lot more alternative spellings of these swear words and get rid of this censoring words within words.

Suggestion:
Instead of censoring the actual character combinations, why not just have the words and its variations in the no-no list?

Like in the case for tit, just put in tit and its variations such as tits and etc.

...I suppose.

Maybe regex filtering?
e.g. (Perl-compatible syntax here: )
s/\bt[ .'-]*i[ .'-]*t[ .'-]*t?[ .'-]*i?[ .'-]*e?[ .'-]*s?\b/***/ig
That would filter: (case insensitive)

Probably be a little complex to implement... forget I said anything :)

I think your filter is a little extreme, though. Go with something simple:

\btit(t?ie)?s?\b
tit
tits
titie
tities
tittie
titties

(Untested.)

Then again a zillion expressions would be need to be made for all the words to filter...

\bfu(c|k|ck)(r|er|ing| in|a|)\b
\bshite?s?\b

When I tested the filter, it censored "massive" too. What to do about that? :?

You know, "mASSive".
