This is my first beatmap. I'm debating on whether to create other levels of difficulty or not. Any input? Thanks!

This beatmap looks like I made it. Which means I'll have a hard time critiquing it. (Except that I probably wouldn't have used those two quarter beats.)

Because I'm a lazy bastard I've only played hard, but based on what I've seen, you know what you're doing. There's just ONE thing I found off, and it was pretty minor. Hitcircles from 1:43:59 to 1:44:53 have weird overlapping traits. Maybe you should space them out like you did the combo before.

I'd like to give you a bubble, but I'll star it. For now.

Thank you :D Kind words make me want to make more beatmaps :P

And I somewhat agree on the quarternote beats. I was a bit skeptical about adding them. Though I do like how it sounds, I've yet to get both of them down perfect on my own playthroughs of the song.

But, I did fix the overlapping notes in the one section of hard, but I think normal might have the same problem. I'm not quite sure of all the rules and guidelines that need to take place in terms of spacing (for overlapping notes, at least) but I think I do have the main idea down.

Also, did you give the offset a look by chance? I know the BPM is down near perfect, but not quite sure about the offset. Otherwise thanks for the star :)

I did take a look at the offset - I tried tweaking it to the first beat of the song, but then all the notes ended up on the half-beats and made the song slightly worse so I reverted back to your offset. Honestly, I think the song itself starts a beat or so early.

I'm going from memory here, and my memory is telling me that the offset was A-okay, so I wouldn't mess with it.

As for the "rules and guidelines" about beat spacing, consistency is the name of the game, even with overlapping beats. Try not to do anything that leaves the player "guessing". This is particularly important when notes overlap, especially back and forth, because the hitcircle numbers become difficult or impossible to see. So, keep the pattern coherent, intuitive and consistent, and you'll be just fine.

Jordan would be near impossible to map xD Props to the person that does it though.

I was thinking of mapping Cliffs of Dover from GH3 :o But songs like that are hard to map :( Which is why I did the techno version of this.

Nice, nice. Finally a map I mod that doesn't utterly suck. Timing looks good. Apacing is acceptable.

Only thing keeping me from bubbling this is easy mode. Appears to be a clone of Normal mode. Even the same difficulty settings. I assume this was just a mix up or something. But do look into it.

Hm, maybe not so quick, as I just went over hard mode again.

As AWP said above, there is quite a bit of guessing and memorization going on in your Hard map. Many, many notes that are spaced as if they are a whole beat away yet only half a beat. Not sure if this was done intentionally, but for the most part it's not that good of an idea in my book.

Plus hard mode seems alittle too hard, but I guess it's not insane either, so not much can be done about that.

But if AWP agrees with the spacing, or anyone else, I will as well and you'll have a ranked map.

Yes, there is most likely some spacing issues in this song. But if one more mod advises I change it I will indeed. Thanks for your input.

And Cliffs of Dover is in the making right now Sakura :D look forward to it.

I just want to make one thing clear that seemed to be a bit mixed up in EiJi's post referencing me. There's only one combo where I found the beat-spacing to be screwy, where the notes overlapped somewhat unpredictably. Just that one 6 or 7 note phrase, and I thought the rest of the map was pretty perfect.

I haven't updated it since I played it the first time, so if you've since corrected that, I think it's rankable - but I'll still have to confirm this for myself.

EDIT: Okay, I went through Normal and Hard, both seemed perfect to me. I also noticed this time through that a lot of the patterns in this song also appear in Shotgun Symphony on hard. Neat.
Also scanned Easy; it looks like a simple mod of Normal, or vice versa. It's also fine. Bubbletime. Someone else go confirm and rank this plz~

But, the easy was just in there by mistake. It's an exact clone of medium o.o I thought I removed it though, is it still there?

Oh god, this was in my timing thread. Why is this map so bad. Unsnapped notes/sliders... :cry:

I'm going to put +20 on it, though it won't completely help.
