You notice how your BG appears at the beginning for a split second? That's because the map can't start with any SB image. My recommendation is to set the image you WANT to start out with as the actual background and fading the OTHER background in later.

00:31:49 (3) - new combo
00:49:09 (13) - one grid down to align with fading 9 + add a whistle
00:52:75 (1) - a little quick for a [Normal] spinner, but it works

[Luna]
00:49:82 (1) - this is a fun little sequence with the spinners, but some BATs may have a problem with them being autoplay 2000 bonus (just giving the heads up)
00:58:97 (2,4) - I suggest switching the position of these two beats. put the 2 where 4 is and the 4 where 2 is. this will give the fading previous combo a chance to actually fade
01:27:41 (5,6) - awkward, don't know what you can do with it though
01:49:10 (14) - new combo
01:52:21 (8) - ^
02:12:11 (5) - turn off grid/distance snap and align this all the way with slider end
02:24:27 (1) - ^
02:40:48 (1) - align with the fading 1

I'm not having the problem with the BG showing up at the beginning for a split second though. It starts with the black background in both normal play and editor testing.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found a way around having to use a black background and improved the quality of all the SB images, so this problem is fixed.

I was having this same problem, but the spacing itself is fine. I think it's just because they both fall on blue ticks. Either way, I changed this to a slider.

Changed up the hitsounds a bit, following most of the suggestions here

Use grid snap here These are supposed to be stacked directly under the slider end, which doesn't snap to the grid.

Why is everything a new combo? This section is supposed to be hard to die on (since in the actual game it's more of a bonus section), so everything is a new combo to give constant "Beat" or "Elite Beat"

...Starred. What else? This map is very well done but the part where there is a phoenix behind the beats feel like its guiding a person using FL through. At least it was compensated with a speed up after it. :P

also, osz is a little big, consider compressing a few of your images down a little more. like speed bg down to 640x480 (stuff like that) (don't forget to redo any SB stuff [scaling wise])

EDIT: do it in photoshop or fireworks and you shouldn't lose any quality on the .pngs (<3 vectors)

Fixed stuff. I changed the speed section BG completely (was looking for an excuse to change it anyway). If it's still too hard to see, I'll move the stack. The file was so big because the comboburst was huuuuuuge, so I fixed that.

Fun fact: My Google image searching for a different background led me to this thread. blissfulyoshi and tieff's avatars came up.

Also my tags aren't working. This map doesn't come up if I search "touhou", but a lot of other pending maps do.

Works now. Still don't understand why it doesn't just work from the start, but it works for everyone else. It also seems to be selectively happening on some ranked maps (some of the tags work, and some don't).

Nevermind, updating killed it again. I even changed the tags. What the hell?! There are 20 other pending maps that come up just fine.


AHA, found the issue. Apparently tags don't do anything at all. Those other maps are coming up because of the source.

This slider is mapped to two notes that play on blue ticks. I've tried moving it back 1/4, but it sounds much worse to me. Try listening on 25% speed and it should be more obvious.
