Hmm...

Hell (Oni?):
The map's nice overall,but part of the chorus seems a bit confusing,
maybe it's due to the hitsound combinations.The overall rhythm for that
part's OK,just the hitsounds.
Worth a 9-10 star difficulty.^ ^

Hard:
Nothing to nitpick here...all I can say is it's 7-8 star in Muzukashii.

Easy:
A wee bit hard for a Kantan map,almost up to Futsuu-difficulty..

Taiko Hell

00.00.406 The starting combo sounds kinda weird, it starts 1/2 a beat before the music comes in.
01.08.770 Might want to trim these beats and replace with something that matches the music more. IMO, (from this point in time), D DKK DKK DKKDDKD. Do this for the rest of the similar patterns in the chorus.

Taiko Hard

00.00.406 Replace with one beat that hits at the moment the music begins.

Taiko Normal

01.03.134 Move 1/2 beat earlier

Taiko Easy
Like crystalsuicune said, this is almost identical to the Normal difficulty. Try to ease up on the beats that are 1/2 beat apart and make them further apart. Make it easier, in short.

Thanks you guys.

The first 3 notes on both Hard and Hell are to 3 1/4 drums that start just before the rest of the music starts, BTW. Also, that really helped, fixed up the chorus on Hell by a lot.

Easy is now easier, also.

Before I continue modding this map...

Set the offset to 588. In Taiko maps, the 1st beat should ALWAYS land on the ACTUAL 1st beat and not just any whole beat. This means you have to adjust the timing on the Kiai too. I noticed this error because the line on the drumchart was obviously not starting on the first 'tap' of the 1-2-3-4 beat and the Kiai started too early.

Kiai starts at 55860.

EDIT: Modded the timing after fixing that 588-55860 thing. 564-55836 is the actual way to go. Resnap afterwards.

EDIT2: I was going to try and get a screenshot of an SRank for Hell on this, until when I tried it again I noticed that the chart got anti-Zekira written all over it... I won't point out which parts since I'll practice with those.

EDIT3: Playing a map 50 consecutive times in 30 minutes in Taiko is unhealthy. Can I make a diff? This is the result of playing this song too much and thinking it awesome.

EDIT4: You're not believe what I'm gonna say I think, but Easy is still too hard for a Kantan diff. It qualifies for Futsuu, actually. When making a Kantan for Taiko, notes are almost never 1/2 apart. Majority of notes are 2 beats apart. Notes that are 1 beat apart usually have a very tick-tock-tick pattern of 3-5-7 consecutive. Yes, it's THIS sucky to make an easy -- this is why I never made Easys on all of my maps, both osu and TaikOsu.

I just redid the Easy. Should be much, much better now. Not a single note 1/2 apart from another one. Also, timing updated.

- Using exactly same difficulty setting for both Kantan and Futsuu? How about adjusting it?

00:46:745 (1,1) - If you are going to use in 'd k' in 00:48:200 (2,1), I think it would be better to start that from here, maybe.
00:54:382 (1) - At least 1.5-beat-long gap between drum roll / spinner with next note is recommended, unless it become too short. Beginners can feel hard to switching from it.
01:03:109 (1,2) - I think it is ok to move them to 01:02:927 (1,2) since not so great note density here. Also current one is sounds a bit weird.
01:14:745 (1) - Similar with above... Maybe.

[Taiko Futsuu]
- This one is neat too.

00:07:836 (1,2,3,4,1) - Try something like this beat? (If you don't want to raise difficulty that much, try excluding 2 in that beat.)

00:10:745 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Similar with above, maybe with some modification, but I think current one is still ok.
00:16:564 (1,2,3) - Ok for being big note, I thinnk.

00:26:745 (2,3,4,1) / 00:28:200 (1,2,3,1) / 00:38:382 (2,3,4) - I perfer 'o---o-o-o' kind of pattern here.
00:42:018 (12) / 00:44:200 (2,3,4) / 00:47:109 (1,2,3) - Personally I don't like using big notes in 'developing' part like this. Two note with 1.5 beat gap would be better? (At least previous part was consisted of regular beats, so I think this kind of thing is good to mood shift or something.)
00:51:473 (4,5) - Big notes, if you want.
01:03:109 (1,2) - Same with Kantan, if you want.
01:07:473 (6,7,8,9,1) - Better to keep same composition with 00:55:836 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2) or something, but I think you might want to give players some rest time after 01:07:473 (6). If you want that, just don't put anything in 01:07::836 even if you apply this.
01:13:291 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2) - It would be better to put some similar thing with 01:01:654 (1,2,1,1,2,1) in here.
01:32:200 (2,3,4,5) - Four 1/2 big note might be a bit harsh for futsuu but if you want to give some 'points' here, I don't mind.

[Taiko Muzukashii]
00:04:927 (8,9,10) - Drum roll or spinner here? It's a kinda transitional zone.
00:19:836 (2,1,2,1) - I personally prefer 'd-d---d-k' here.
00:23:291 (2,1) - I personally prefer 'd-k' here.
00:24:564 (4,5,1) - 'd-d-d' here?
00:26:018 (1,2,3) - 'k-k-k'?
00:27:109 (5,6,1,2,1,2) / 00:38:745 (2,3,4,5,1,1) - 'd-k-d-d-k-d', it isn't that hard for muz.
00:31:292 (2,1,2,1) / 00:34:200 (1,1,2,1) - Personally prefer 'k-k---k-d'.
00:43:836 or 00:44:018 - Add a note, maybe?
00:48:200 (5,1,2,1,2,3) - 'd-d---d-k---d-d-k'? Well actually 'd-k---k-d' is used in 00:46:018 (2,1,2,1) and I don't think it is reused in here.

01:01:654 (1) - Instead of putting big note here...
01:03:109 (1,2,1) - ...putting some in 01:02:927 & 01:03:654 would be better, instead of these notes.
01:30:745 (5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15) - Usually these kind of 'ddddd' considered as quite hard in muz and considering overall patterns this is quite a sudden raise of difficulty. At least crop one 'ddddd' in to 'ddd d' or something?

[lepidon! - Taiko Oni]
- Cannot mod mine, you know. Just be careful about 1/6s when you auto-snap this.

[Taiko Hell]
- Well, unlike other guy's maps, this map has good composition, but patterns are a bit overused. Consider gathering more good modders about this.

00:00:655 (4,5) - These two sound bad to me, remove it? (Maybe kat to 00:00:564 (3), too.)
00:00:927 (1,2,3) - Some kind of pattern putting kat in 1 would be better.
00:04:927 (11,12,13,14) - Putting drum roll in spinner here.
00:06:382 / 00:09:291 / 00:12:200 / 00:15:109 / 01:19:473 / 01:22:018 / 01:24:927 - Stream like these... Well, this make the map overmapped, to be honest.
00:16:564 (14,15) - You can try some big notes here?
00:17:654 (1,2,3,4,5) - 'kkkkd'?
00:20:473 (24) - don? two kats in the end of this stream isn't sound so comfortable for me.
00:29:291 (6,7,8,9) - 'k ddd', maybe.
00:41:018 (18) - No specific sounds particularly suits here, just don is better to me.
00:45:291 (17,18,19,20,21) - Some pattern including kat in 00:45:291 (17) and don in 00:45:473 (19) would be suiter?
00:58:745 (8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16) - I think you can use 'dkk's in here.

Taiko Hell needs more modding, others are pretty good.

I do want to ditch the last 2009 diff, Taiko Hell, though, because it's overmapped to hell. But some freaks actually like it, so it's sort of a dilemma.

Circle Size/Approach Rate is recommend to be at "5" (middle) by peppy as to not affect star difficulty rating.
Need to uncheck "Enable Countdown" and "Letterbox During Breaks" for taiko maps.
Find a spot to end kiai time. I'm not sure if allowing kiai time to go on like that is allowed or what? I don't think it effects anything so this, I guess, is merely a suggestion but it just looks weird to not see it end for me... i don't know, maybe it's just me, and now i'm rambling. ON TO THE MOD desu~

Pretty good here, anything i say is just a suggestion.
00:04:564 - Right here is very prominent drum piece, I'd suggest mapping it or at least simplify it with 1/1 beat.
01:32:382 (3,4) - Can change these to kats for a little variation. Also, it's easier to hit finishers (usually) if the note before it is the opposite color, I've noticed.


[Muzukashi]
00:41:291 (1,2,1,1,2) - I would remove the finishers (never want to follow vocals in taiko, it's just not authentic). and overmap to give it a drum touch-up by placing a don here: 00:41:836
00:44:018 - same vocal issue. can be fixed by moving the don here 00:44:018 to 00:43:836
00:50:564 (2,3,4) - I wouldn't recommend following vocals like this by emphasizing them with finishers. the dons are fine, but i suggest removing those finishers.
00:52:927 - This, however, can use a finish to emphasize the symbol.
00:55:473 - can place kkk in 1/4 here to give a little drum flare to this piece.
01:28:927 - suggest moving slider back 1/2 beat to here. easier to transfer into the solid circles like that.

Nah, those notes are extremely emphasized by the music with both the vocals and the guitar thingy there. It just feels right.

00:55:473 - can place kkk in 1/4 here to give a little drum flare to this piece.
I want a small break at that part, so I'll decline on that.

And for future reference, going to the vocals occasionally is indeed authentic, but that's mainly only done when the vocals have so much emphasis that it feels weird not to.
