I thought maybe it'll be a fun idea to set a custom status, so that people can see it while they are looking at the player list.

Why monitor them? Can't just the filter take care of it?

But another problem it might have... Where to set it? A hotkey or what? And what color would our panel be? Customizable too?

I definitely think it's not a bad idea, but it seems suspicious why nobody has mentioned it before... Maybe it got denied?

Just make a new beatmap and edit the title/artist. I did it before. >_>

Someone get the image where James had a status saying 'Editing your ass'. :U

It would be cool to see something like this, but I can easily see some abuse. I mean, nearly everyone is going to use it and that might be a little overwhelming...

I would like this, but maybe preset messages set to certain hotkeys(that you can edit of course). Or a hotkey that shows a box allowing you to type a message.

I wouldn't mind this, especially something like /away. then again, Doesn't Osu! auto set your status to afk when you don't move osu! for a while?

The point is, /away has a message with it.

/away Walking the mantis.
/away
/away brb
/away

Blank /away's unset the message. (/unaway could be used, maybe. Probably not /back.)

The current auto-away thing would have its own message, perhaps user-settable.

Peppy said it might be a good idea, but will likely be added for osu!direct.

Might be the same with this idea.
