"Reloading skin sprites" causes most graphics to disappear [Denied]

Sometimes "Reloading skin sprites" bar appears and then most graphics just disappears. Everything appears again after some clicking around.

I am using osu! with Polish language (b759), 1024x768.

WinXP, 768 MB RAM, Intel Celeron 2.2GHz, GeForce 4 MX 440 (no shaders).

I think I figured out when this thing happens: when I press Alt+S. And I press it often, because it gives polish letter "ś".

Bump, it still happens.

Also, I am using OpenGL mode.

The problem is not only the shortcut - but also the fact that function doesnt work, it kills graphics without reloading.

Also, isnt it simpler to just block it when chat is open?
