So is UWS making an Insane or Extra? I'm confused
captin1
it seems like to me the planned difficulty curve would be natsu<uws<445

but uws's map is pretty hard hah

pretty much this ^ is like Insane+ (another) diff thought

I FC your diff too but I can't the extra one
UnitedWeSin
I made it to hopefully be a diff with little/no streaming to fit with Natsu's Extra which I knew it to be at the time. I don't think it's that difficult tbh (most test plays have nearly fced on first play) but I guess I find any streaming to be way more difficult than most people do.
Charles445
No I mean the UWS diff is going to be as hard if not harder than the Extra
So I might as well not provide a diff as it'd be duplication
(hell the diffs look the same too)

well about UWS diff I personally don't feel is harder than the extra is a jumpy insane, I can FC it without problems, (notice I'm not a good player).

I'll respect your decision

edit:

Added: preview time, tags and general stuff please updated your diffs c:/ :D

p/2883448 okay~
captin1
oh i should probably give you a hitsounded diff, shouldn't i...

thanks :3/, blame Apaffy about the tag lol, probably I'm removing it in the next updated :P

oh boy, big names. here are a few suggestions for each diff because I gotta wake up early for the Canada game yeee

Red: Unrankable
Blue: Highly recommended/very questionable
Black: Suggestion
[General]
  1. Disable countdown, letterbox during breaks, and widescreen support on UWS's Insane for unification.
  2. Your current background dimensions are 1086 x 767. Perhaps you could re-size it to 1024 x 768?
[captin's Easy]
This guy.
  1. 00:23:035 (1) - Finish for the cymbal crash.
  2. 00:58:671 (2,3) - Perhaps you could make a blanket between these two? It would look wonderful!
  3. 01:16:126 (3) - Whistle on the tail sounds good since the piano sound is the same pitch as heard on the head where a whistle is also used.
  4. 02:34:308 (1) - End the spinner on 02:36:853 as most diffs have.
[Normal]
  1. 00:37:580 (1,3) - There's a slight unnecessary overlap between these two and that's briefly visible in gameplay which you can easily avoid.
  2. 00:42:489 (4) - Try a rhythm like this to catch the piano sound and lead beginner players into the proceeding rhythm more easily:
  3. 00:53:580 (1) - Cool slider! But don't you think the SV is a bit too high and sudden of a change for a Normal? I think you could get away with a lower SV change or no change at all and just scale down the slider a bit.
  4. 01:47:399 (1) - This one is right on the edge of the default life bar and most likely under most player's custom ones. See if you can move it down a little.
  5. 01:57:035 (5) - With how the previous slider began on a strong piano sound, it would feel more intuitive to have this slider start on 01:56:853 and shorten 01:56:126 (4) to end on the red tick. Try it out.
  6. 02:16:489 (4) - Soft-whistle on the head to go with the sharp sound. Also because you have one here for Insane.
  7. 02:28:126 (5) - I think a finish on the head would make more sense with the sound in the music.
  8. 02:31:762 (6) - Remove the normal-whistle from head. It isn't emphasizing anything like it did for 02:29:944 (2).
  9. 02:34:035 (1) - Spinner should end on 02:36:853. Would make the most sense and be consistent with the other diffs.
[apaffy's Hard]
Probably going to want some more hitsounds for this.
Consider using OD6 to fit the spread more nicely.
  1. 00:04:853 (3) - I would reposition this a little so it doesn't appear to touch so closely to the previous slider.
  2. 00:09:944 (10) - NC here to fit your pattern up to this point. Also perhaps break this into a circle and a 1/2 slider to catch the piano sound on 00:10:126.
  3. 00:11:399 (1) - Remove NC
  4. 00:12:853 (5) - NC
  5. 00:15:035 (12,13) - The spacing here feels a bit strange to play. I think using similar spacing like 00:16:489 (3,4,5) would feel better for consistency, or you could do vice versa and increase the spacing for 00:16:489 (3,4,5).
  6. 00:21:580 (1,2) - Not really a fan of this stack. It kind of kills the flow because of how momentum is building in the music you would expect faster movement. Try using a jump or a gradual spacing increase here instead. Another option would be to add a note on 00:21:762. It would feel intuitive with how 00:20:126 (5,6,7) played.
  7. 01:00:126 (7,8) - I have a hunch that Hard-level players are going to misinterpret the spacing here and not expect a second repeat on that slider. Consider removing the repeat or adjusting the spacing to make the pattern easier for players to read/predict.
  8. 01:50:308 (1) - A spacing increase here would be divine with how the music plays.
  9. 01:51:035 (3,4,5) - Same as above for these.
  10. 02:11:762 (8) - This circle is a bit off from how you're stacking.
  11. 02:32:580 (1) - Silence the spinner-end would be cool.
[Insane]
  1. 00:08:307 (9) - Perhaps use a whistle here to be consistent with 00:03:944 (7). I also recommended you add whistles to any similar parts because of how it fits with the high pitch of the piano. Alternatively you can remove the whistles on 00:02:489 (7) and 00:03:944 (7) to be consistent with how the difficulty is currently hit-sounded but I would prefer the former.
  2. 00:12:489 (1) - I think a finish instead of a whistle would emphasize the powerful crashing sound in the music better.
  3. 00:32:489 (6) - The spacing of this note here is really compressed and makes the pattern look messy in gameplay. Perhaps try to keep it at .7x ds or just not as compressed. To be honest I think the whole stream could use a little cleaning up.
  4. 01:14:489 (2) - The piano is actually in 1/6 here. I would either snap this in 1/6 or remove whistle on the reverse because the piano sounds occur shortly before and after the current whistle.
  5. 02:04:580 (2) - Would look very clean if you stacked this on 02:03:943 (4).
  6. 02:05:580 (1,2) - I would much rather you use soft whistles rather than normals here. Sounds rather noisy and doesn't compliment the piano sounds that well. If you don't change I would at least lower the volume here about 10% so the normal-whistles aren't so overpowering.
  7. 02:21:217 (1) - The curve on this slider looks really strange compared to everything else in the map. Consider deleting the anchor at x:488 y:196 to make the end of it straight. I think it would fit nicely with how the proceeding sliders are all linear.
  8. 02:29:944 (1,2) - Same as above for this, as well as 02:31:762 (1,2).

I feel like you could make more use of soft-whistles in the streams. Just as an example you could use one on 00:08:035 because the pitch of the piano sound is identical to 00:07:762 (3) where you have a whistle. Of course this can apply in many cases and is optional so it's really up to you whether to approach it like this or not.
[UWS's Insane]
  1. 00:33:944 (6) - Whistle here to catch the piano sound would be nice.
  2. 01:00:035 (3) - Remove whistle on the head? It's not emphasizing an easily identifiable sound in the music .
  3. 02:05:217 (1) - Correct me if i'm wrong, but shouldn't this be snapped in 1/6?
  4. 02:21:580 (2) - I would imagine that a lot of players are going to release early and get a 100 like I did because they weren't expecting another repeat. Perhaps you could shorten this by a reverse and add a note on 02:21:853?
Ohhh this is all very nice.
Good luck with this~ I think this is my first mod for you Natsu <3

Edit: Fixed some incorrect editor links.
