Multiplayer score bug [#77] [Resolved]

I was playing a match in multi earlier and won even though "2nd place" had gotten ~7K more points than me.



This was in b1024, and the other players confirmed that they all saw me as 1st place with lower points.

If needed,the replays can be found on the map. 31st and 39th places for SteRRuM and I respectively.

confirmed, this has happened several times to me. this happened also before b1024. (just the build before it)

don't think there is a real way to replicate it

i really think it's because of the delay betwen the player connections

Found the cause, and it's this:

The score of another player keeps increasing if your connection with the server or their connection with the server is slow. The final score is shown on the results screen but the order from the scoreboard at the end of the match is the same.

Not sure how many threads there are for this, but Intermezzo marked it as resolved previously. Care to open a ticket for this (or reopen if there is already one).
