If you move the mouse over the end of a slider in the timeline so that the cursor changes to the resize cursor, then move it vertically down to the play area, it won't change back to the normal pointer cursor.

I had this happen once and didn't know how to reproduce it.

Confirmed.

I had to go back to the timeline to fix the cursor.
