What programs you think are the most essential to your everyday computer life.
Preferably not games (WoW, osu!, etc).

It can be top3 or top5 or as many as you need, but try not listing your entire application list.
Pretty much stuff that you install as soon as you get your new computer and that you use almost everyday.

For me it would be

Winrar
Irfanviewer
Notepad++
Launchy
Firefox
Wizard Of Orz

If you really think about it, slowly web is taking over programs.
You can now login into any messenger through sites. Edit images (picnik, aviary, sumopaint, etc) and even videos. You can convert files, work in word/powerpoint. Even games are slowly moving to web with QuakeLive or taking it even further, we can start talking about OnLive and other game streaming systems (even though I call bs on the latencies).
You're just now realizing this?

You're at least five years behind.

OnLive is still in beta :|
ChromeOS isn't out yet.
There's still long way to go.

I don't use MS Office, I work on and save my personal documents on google docs, can work on it from work, home and college without the need of updating each copy with a usb flash disk or emails.

I don't know what you're talking about. Someone wrote the code for Subterranean Animism and compiled it. Sounds like a program to me.
