my friend and i were going to play together in multiplayer game, but he got an error message :

"You must login to bancho and be connected before playing online"

i'm totally positive that my friend is online, he's on the user list and in my friend list, he's online..

he's tried to run the osume updater, etc etc but nothing worked...

so, help!!

oh and a new additional information:

he was like, online, and then offline, in my friendlist...
when he pressed F9 button, he disconnected after a while, and then reconnect, and the same thing occured...

Check your friend's internet connection. Make sure connections don't drop for him in other places, too.

If possible, use a wired instead of wireless (WiFi) connection.

yeah his connection is all good, the trouble is only in osu!
he almost gave up osu!.. lol

Another case of constant DC... I thought this was fixed already?

Nope, I'm experiencing it as well.
When I used vista, It passed after a few weeks.
I have formatted my PC 2 weeks ago, now I have windows 7. Hopefully it will pass as well, but a fix will be more than better.

Bancho is the online service osu! uses (which was created specifically for that purpose)

Bancho is like, for me the system in osu! or idk. If you're using Wifi, it's not that much that i would suggest cause sometimes it goes on and off. I prefer Modems.

Even my friend experiences this. Try changing your connectiion and it might help ~
