I just removed my Windows XP partition from my mac and replaced it with Windows 7. I backed up all of my osu! maps and they are currently in the new Songs folder. However, none of these maps are detected by osu! except for the tutorial. I can download new maps and they are detected fine (they are in the same folder as the other ones), but I can't get osu! to find the old maps. What's going on?

Restarting doesn't help either. Also, there is a corrupt .osz in the songs folder that I didn't delete before, and that is still detected (it says it fails/moves to failed folder every time)

^That didn't work, but I reinstalled (probably should have tried that first) and it works now 
I'd say the cause would have been the permissions the folders got when you copied them into the osu! folder. osu! will reset these permissions on install (although you can also force it from Options for future reference).
