Creator's word
The first song in my graveyard to be resurrected, remapped, then ranked! You could say I am lazy (I only mapped Normal and Advanced), but I wanted to take a backseat for two reasons. One, I mapped a hard in the old mapset but it didn't follow what I had in mind so I deleted it. I felt slightly demotivated after that. Two, all of the GDs are amazing and should definitely receive some recognition.

I dedicate this song to my high school crush who I didn't have the balls to ask out, N.X. You might never read this and it may be selfish of me to do this without you knowing, but I will always support you all the way. Stay beautiful.

The volume change is cool, but I feel like youre over using it a bit.
Maybe experiment with more than just the normal audio sampleset
Some sliders dont look nice
Some consistancy issues, mostly with hitsounds.

  1. Blankets so many blankets! I'll mention this once :P 00:11:442 (1,2) - use the slider circle thing as a guide for the blanket
  2. 00:12:324 (2) - I recommend that you shorten this slider to 1/1. 00:12:765 - this note shouldn't be ignore imo, then add a single to 00:13:206 -?
  3. 00:14:530 - This gap isn't necessary, you should map this.
  4. 00:15:853 (2) - there are two strong notes here 00:15:853 - and 00:16:074 - try one of these
  5. 00:19:383 (2,3,4,5,1,2) - inconsistent spacing here, try keeping it the same
  6. 00:24:677 (2) - 1/2 slider instead?
  7. 00:25:118 (3) - take out the reverse and add a single here 00:25:559 - this might just be my opinion, but i recommend you don't end sliders on these large white ticks, strong beats such as this should be clickable.

  10. 00:30:412 (4) - same story with ending sliders on strong beats, it just feels better to click on stronger beats like that.

  17. nothing else new to say, try making the map neater tho mostly with your blanketing and stacking. Rhythm overall is pretty solid except for the ending sliders on large ticks thing, I really recommend against that. I know this is a normal but you could really up the complexity of the rhythm here a little. Most of the map is 1/1, I really suggest you map some of the 1/2 guitar and drum bits that stand out to you. This will not only make the map more interesting but will reduce the large diff gap between this and the hard.

  1. Why don't put the offset at 11,442? There's no sound at 854 so it wouldn't make sense to put the offset there... Then resnap the kiai
  2. You don't need to check "widescreen support" (song setup -> design -> widescreen support) since you don't have storyboard; unless you wanted to add one.
  3. You don't need to check "letterbox during breaks" as well.
  4. You also can set the combo colors so it would match with the background (song setup -> colours) I suggest to set it to orange, red, until chocolate.
  5. I think you can use custom hitsound for clap like drum sound or something because the sound in the song is mainly drum, not clap

[Normal]

  2. Check AiMod (ctrl+shift+A) and check the "check distance snap" option. There are some DS problems, you should fix them.

- Your timing's fine, but maybe you could adjust your timing points by setting them 18 milliseconds earlier? (e.g. your uninherited point at 900ms should be adjusted to 882ms). it's probably just me though

- Fun map for a normal, the rhythm is good too :)
- The note at 00:13:694 isn slightly misaligned with 00:12:811(2). Move it one unit to the right to fix this
- Why is there a middle pivot in the slider at 00:15:017(1)? Right-click it to remove it
- Slider at 00:26:488(2) could be made less curvy to better blanket 00:26:047(1)
- Slider at 00:29:135(1) could be made less curvy to better blanket 00:30:017(2)
- Blanket fix at 00:41:488(3). I'll let you figure out these ones on your own ;)
- Blanket fix at 00:49:429(4)
- Maybe replace the notes at 01:07:958(1, 2) with a 1/1 slider?

  2. NC'ng is unconsistent and wierd. How you did on Normal was nice. Adding NC every 1 or 2 measures is much better than how it's right now
  3. 00:22:958 (6,1) - would be nice if these were stacked or not overlapped at all. Now looks a bit ugly to me. Breaking a bit your DS on hard isn't a real problem.
  4. 00:41:488 (1,2) - these claps are really annoying ><, cuz there's no snare on those places
  5. 00:42:370 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - it'd be much better to use a more constant distance between thse notes cuz it's the same rhythm as a whole. Changing it for 00:45:238 (1) - is fine tho

  15. 03:17:223 (2,3,4,5,6) - this pentagon looks bad, cuz some small overlaps that the notes have. You can either use the polygon tool or not use grid snap to do these kind of stuffs, so it looks neater

very happy to see Paramore get mapped!!

Normal diff:

First off, I'd change the AR to 4,5 or even 5. Might not seem like much, but once you do it feels a lot different for an inexperienced player. Currently, with AR4, it feels a lot more like an Easy difficulty map, even though it is a Normal. Out of all of the recent Normal difficulty maps I have, only like 10% are AR4.

Maybe changin the HP drain to 4 could have the same effect but I'm not sure it's as necessary as the AR change. Your call!

As far as the map itself goes, there's nothing wrong with it! I like how consistent you were with distance spacing; it's very important at this level of play.

Hard diff:

01:53:399 (1) - Extend the size/duration for another 1/4 beat and have it lead straight into the next slider at 01:53:841 to achieve the desired effect! Maybe even give it a little bit of a bend!

02:46:782 to 02:57:370 - I'd remove all of the clap sounds you added, they really break the build up and don't quite fit at the time! (Keep in mind, keeping the clap precisely at 02:57:370 is also a possibility, since it's already in the buildup)

The map itself looks amazing. Very clean, fun to play, feels good. The one problem, to me, lies in its OD value. It's a low bpm map, 3,79* and AR8,5. Even though OD7,5 isn't high, it feels just a tad too much for this map. I'd consider changing it to 7, but it really isn't necessary.

In all honesty, aside from what I pointed out, I don't see anything else that could be a bother. I really hope this gets ranked! :)
