You should totally map from 00:12:799. Also, any reason why the end of kiai time at the first chorus isn't snapped to 1/1?

I don't know how you did it, but the offbeat-ness at 48 secs was well implied.
I like how most of the map is unique - it never feels the same when playing.

I felt like bumping this thread because I love this beatmap, but also because I want to shed a bit of insight into how I think that the offbeats in this map are readable (and how they can be readable in general).

I think that one of the most important aspects is that RJ uses large and consistent spacing in his maps--this means that even the spacing of something that's 1/4 off the beat is still notably different to 1/2 spacing. The fact that there's also obvious 1/2 spacing between (3) and (4) makes it obvious that the offbeats don't occur as half beats, while the approach circles make it obvious that they won't occur on the beat. The latter point is relevant in that the music is slow enough for the slight differences to be readable and the variance is evident in the music, so that the pattern feels right to the player.
