What happens after multiplayer songs

After I finished some multiplayer songs, I heard all these Osu sounds playing one after another really fast, but I didn't press any osu buttons! It scared the heck out of me!

it's been experienced before. Does it happen consistently across the same beatmap? Using the same mods? Or is it completely by chance? I've only gotten this once before but I'm not on multi that often.
