Message is appearing because you're failing to connect to Bancho. Likeliest scenario here is that one of the proxies you're using blocks the port to Bancho. Does it work with a regular net connection?

I have the same problem, and im not using a proxy...

I don't know if I have a proxy, but I get the same error message
this problem has only started today with me, maybe theres soemthing with the server, but there is still people doing it normally, and it works for them, strange(i dont use Proxy, and my connection worked before)
EDIT: ok guys, i just tried to lgin, and its working now
