I have my taiko keys bound to X/S N/J (main1/2 alt 1/2) and using z to click in normal gameplay doesn't work. X works tho....

Those keybinds aren't Taiko exclusive, so of course they don't work when you change them.
I think I should just note the input configuration IS buggy. As of the latest update, the main 2 and alt 1 is swapped. So, if you map a button for a main 2, it'll be configured for alt 1 instead and vice versa. 
Its fixed? Or do you not update your osu!.
I did and it still gave me that?
