osu crash adding bg image [Resolved]

I was trying to add a different bg image to my Bubble Bobble map, and then, all of a sudden osu crashes, asking me if I want to save. I tried to do it again and deleting the original bg image manually in the songs folder, but I got the exact same fate.

Should be fixed now. Tell me if it still happens - if so it may be specific to the beatmap (attach the osu file plz :)).

It was the actual image that caused the error, I think, because I tried with the same image again and osu crashed, but when I used another image on the same beatmap, it was perfectly fine. I tried on another beatmap just to be sure, and got the same results.

I have added a bit more error checking so this doesn't crash osu! - just displays an error saying the format of the image file may be unreadable. Marking this as resolved.
