---------------
I don't play very many Easy beatmaps, so I hope it's easy enough for beginners. It shouldn't be too bad though.

For Hard, it gets a little crazy in the middle with 11 sets of 3 markers in quick succession. It may sound weird and out of place, but the drums are doing a quick 3-beat thing and that's why they're there. Not to mention it makes it a little harder. It happens again near the end, but I tried to make it a little easier so you don't flat out fail.

Anyway, this is the first beatmap I've done. Hope it's good. :]

Edit: Added a timing section to Easy/Hard which fixed the timing for the latter half of the song. MUCH better now.
Edit 2: Background image. (LuigiHann's idea. Not a tad bad one either. I like the image I found.)
Edit 3: A couple of small changes in Easy and a few bigger changes in Hard and changed hit sound volume...
Edit 4: LuigiHann made me realize I had to Full Submit this thing.
Edit 5: Used awp's timing/offset and resynced the markers throughout the song.
Edit 6: Forgot about Easy. Fixed Easy, fixed Hard some more, and changed sample sets.
Edit 7: Fixed a bunch of spacing for Easy and reverted name back to Apocolypse.
Edit 8: MaxwellDemon pointed out that I had to full submit. Whooops.
Edit 9: Fixed timing and the things on Rolled's list.
Edit 10: Raised sample set volume for both difficulties as per MaxwellDemon's suggestion.
Edit 11: Cyclone added a ton of timing sections for me, so the accuracy should be a little better. Also pointed out a few mistimed markers.

Note about song title: On the CD case, the song is spelled Apocolypse WOW! Apocolypse is the official spelling whether it was intentional or not, so let's not mention how "It's Apocalypse, not Apocolypse." I know. Tell that to the artist. He probably knows, too.

Oh, and I've gotten a Perfect 500 on Hard, but I got a B. So either I have bad timing or the beatmap has bad timing/spacing. I dunno.

Oh man, I tried this one, it's great, except I just suck at the game, in general.

I think now is a good time for my bump of the day... I'm eager for that official mod.

Eh.

[Easy]
00:00:36 (1,2) - Just a suggestion, but maybe you should remove it? It doesn't really need to be there; the spinner does its job in that regard.
00:12:14 (4) - Spacing
00:14:42 (4) - Spacing
00:15:85 (2) - Spacing
00:18:13 (1) - Spacing
00:19:85 (1) - Spacing
00:21:56 (2) - Spacing
00:22:42 (3) - Spacing
00:24:42 (1,2,3,4) - Spacing
00:30:70 (2) - Spacing
00:33:55 (1,2,3,4) - Spacing
00:53:25 (1) - Spacing
01:08:10 (2,3) - Spacing
01:11:81 (1) - Spacing
01:17:52 (2) - Spacing
02:03:19 (2) - Spacing
02:04:34 (1) - Spacing
02:05:48 (1) - Spacing
02:08:05 (3) - Spacing
02:08:62 (4) - Spacing in correlation to 1 of the next combo
02:10:12 (1) - Spacing in correlation of 1 of the previous combo
02:12:40 (2) - Spacing
02:14:68 (2) - Spacing
02:45:23 (1) - Spacing
03:01:51 (1) - Spacing
03:03:79 (1) - Spacing in correlation to 3 (slider end) of the previous combo
03:06:07 (1) - Spacing in correlation to 2 (slider end) of the previous combo
03:07:21 (2) - Spacing
03:08:36 (1) - Spacing in correlation to 2 (slider end) of the previous combo
03:10:07 (4) - Spacing
03:10:64 (1) - Spacing in correlation to 4 (slider end) of the previous combo
03:11:21 (2) - Spacing

I recommend using the normal sampleset instead of soft. Also, try using distance snap in a few areas. The snap for [Easy] is 0.8x. (Alt + mouse wheel scroll to adjust)

[Hard]
00:00:36 (1,2,3) - Suggesting they be removed (same reason as [Easy])
00:07:29 (5) - This note belongs on 00:07:21
00:08:43 (2) - Spacing
00:08:71 (3) - Spacing
00:10:14 (1) - Spacing in correlation to 6 of the previous combo
00:10:71 (2) - Spacing
00:11:00 (3) - Spacing
00:12:14 (5) - Spacing
00:12:42 (1) - Spacing in correlation to 5 of the previous combo
00:13:00 (2) - Spacing
00:13:28 (3) - Spacing
00:13:95 (4) - This note belongs on 00:13:92; also spacing
00:14:71 (1) - Spacing
00:15:28 (2) - Spacing
00:15:56 (3) - Spacing
00:16:23 (4) - This note belongs on 00:16:21; also spacing
00:16:71 (5) - Spacing
00:17:28 (2) - Spacing
00:17:56 (3) - Spacing
00:17:85 (1) - Spacing
00:18:13 (2) - Spacing
00:18:71 (4) - Spacing
00:18:99 (5) - Spacing
00:21:85 (1) - Spacing in correlation to 1 (slider end) of the previous combo (shifting that slider up a bit will fix the problem)
00:29:84 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - Spacing
00:45:83 (5) - Spacing
00:48:97 (2) - Spacing
01:02:67 (1) - Spacing
01:04:10 (1,2,3,4) - Spacing
02:01:77 (3) - Spacing
02:06:34 (7) - Spacing
02:07:48 (4) - Spacing
02:09:26 (2,3,4) - Spacing
02:10:97 (3) - Spacing
02:11:54 (2,3,4) - Spacing
02:13:26 (3) - Spacing
02:23:18 to 02:35:45 - Select all of these beats and go back to the first note of this section; shift 1 to the closest white tick to the right. After that, select 02:31:03 (1,2,3,4,5) and shift the entire combo to the closest white tick to the left (going by 1). Once you're done with that...
02:32:96 (2) - Spacing
02:34:67 (2) - Spacing
02:47:66 (1,2,3) - Spacing in correlation to 1 of the previous combo
02:51:09 (1,2,3) - Spacing in correlation to 1,2,3 of the previous combo
02:51:66 (1) - Spacing in correlation to 1,2,3 of the previous combo
02:56:94 (1,2,3,4) - Spacing
02:59:22 (1) - Spacing in correlation to 4 of the previous combo
03:00:65 (2,3,4) - Spacing
03:12:21 (3,4) - Spacing

Once again, I recommend using the normal sampleset instead of soft. Also, try using distance snap in a few areas. The gimmicks may look cool, but they're actually causing a lot of spacing problems. I also recommend going into the song setup under "advanced" and putting the tick on "never stack" or relatively close to "never stack", because the gimmick at 00:49:82 stacks way too much when played.

The snap for [Hard] is 0.6x. (Alt + mouse wheel scroll to adjust)

Also, remember: When moving any of these notes in an attempt to fix the spacing, pay attention to whatever notes are near it on the timeline.
Example:
"02:59:22 (1) - Spacing in correlation to 4 of the previous combo"
Moving 4 closer to 1 would fix this, but then a new spacing error would arise; 02:59:51 (2) would be off. So be careful!

And good luck! It's a good map. All you have to do is fix these errors.

Seems pretty good. I don't entirely agree with the use of soft sounds, but that's your call. The few notes before the beginning spinner don't feel right; I think you'd be better off starting with the spinner.

Timing doesn't feel perfect to me, but I'm not sure what to suggest there. Hopefully another mod will confirm it.

In any case, you get a star.

Ash brings up some good points, however he went very extreme. Not everything needs to be 100% distance snaps. Some things are crucial though to keep confusion to a minimum.

Personally (with playing through some old beatmap packs) I've become pretty good at sightreading. The beat of the song is pretty easy to follow even with the varying distance spacing, but (as arrogant as this sounds) not everybody is too good at sight reading /flex. That is where spacing is a must. I'm going to point out some crucial things in hard.

00:10:14 (1,2,3) - This could be mistaken for a half beat. try to keep spacing as similar to 00:09:28 (4,5,6) as possible, this is a good spacing for full beats in this map.
00:17:56 (3,1,2,3,4,5,6) - You could space this out a bit. Not just for spacing's sake, but give the player some challenging jumps.
01:02:70 (1,2,3,4,5) - ^same
02:00:99 (1,2,3) - Fix this up a bit with more appropriate spacing, and all similar spots.
02:47:13 (1,1,2,3) - A bit further of a gap between these 2.
02:50:55 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1) - ^same

Also I hate doubting awp's timing but .02 bpm is ugly. I like 986 offset with 210 BPM. It's a small difference with how fast the bpm is, but .02 come on now. Some things could be fixed in this map before it's sent to ranking, but it's well on its way. Going to demote this to a star, sorry bud :/

It seems like everything is all alright here. Just one really minor fix on irc, and it's a bubble~

Here's what i got for timingDownload: Reggie and the Full Effect - Apocolypse WOW! (Seibei4211) [Cyclone].osu

I did that rather quickly though, so somebody double check me please.

This was definitely posted at the time of ranking.

Ranked.

After Cyclone's slew of timing points, hard is finally fully in time. Easy had no problems.
