Well i think its awesome your trying to bring metal into osu! and im sure awp will agree. cutting the song means you have a differnt mp3 meaning you have to do the whole beatmap from scratch and IMO cutting off the end of the song yould be a shame so i think leave it in besides we need more long maps. As for the question of lowering the score get rid of some of those overkill Etna sliders and maby put in some more shorter breaks during the solo (I know you really dont want to do that but if it has to be done it has to be done).

Actually you wouldn't have to remap from scratch. If you haven't mapped the part you're considering cutting out, do so with Audacity and overwrite the MP3. The editor will automatically adjust the end length to the new length of the MP3.

I'll try my hand at the timing for this beast in a bit.

Really? That's a relief, ha. Now, I'd have to reupload it, right? Can I edit this thread with the first post directing to the newly uploaded one? Or will I screw up the system and whatnot?

I think I'll go through with the other Metallica songs after I finish this baby 100%. I'll look into skinning in the meantime. Maybe some storyboarding too. Gotta make this perfect.

Bump, all I need (as far as I know) is placement of breaks. Once I get that, I'll put in the other difficulties, finish the skin and throw this in Pending. Anyone got suggestions?
