Just want to share my collection of Taiko beatmaps. I'm not too good of a mapper (i don't quite follow the rules of offsets when I'm making Taiko maps), but each of these maps are very playable using the Taiko mod and will appeal to a Taiko player like me.

Bandai Namco's Caramelldansen is rather short, but yeah I can do that.

Ready Steady Go from Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! 1

Story: The meteor is hitting Earth! Whereas the Ouendan team are busy trying to save the world, they realized that their powers alone aren't enough - even combined with everybody else's around the world. Just then, a Taiko machine in an arcade in Shibuya, Japan flickered - showing this one in Oni mode -10 stars. Many Taiko drummers in the arcade noticed this, but dared not to pick up the drum sticks and hit the drum. After a long moment of silence, one brave drummer stepped up to the machine and began to play this song...

He realized that this song was difficult, but he gathered his courage and joined in the attempt to save the word, together with the Ouendan. Each time the Ouendan had break times, the Taiko drummer would assist them in contributing a termendous amount of energy to them - revitalizing them. During the whole process of the song, it was said that the drummer himself ignited with flames of courage - increasing the energy flow around the arcade.

After the song finished, a huge energy force was shot towards the meteor - crushing it to pieces. The Ouendan team though it was a miracle that occured during the time when the meteor was broken. However, little did they know, that there was an unsung hero that also helped them save the world...

Story: The Taiko drummer once again picked up the drumsticks in an arcade in Akihabara, Tokyo. However, he has a long time rival - always wanting to beat him in Taiko. It was freezing cold all over the world, as the sun ceased its operation. The Ouendan team around the area looked at their rivals and knew that there was only one thing they could do to save the world once more... which was to work together. Never had they imagined they had to work together.

This also applied to both of the Taiko drummers, for the first time, his rival also picked up the drumsticks and smiled towards his rival - whom he now considers as his friend. They shook hands and they hit the drums, miraculously, at the same time the Ouendan teams started to cheer.

The crowds around them cheered louder as they each successfully hit their streak of 100 combos. In efforts to save the Earth, the Ouendan teams finally noticed a huge surge of energy coming from an area nearby. Heating up the place, the ice slowly melted. As the energy force grew large enough, all the powers gathered from the Earth was shot up towards the Sun, giving it energy to probably last another few million years.

As things have returned to normal, the Taiko drummers bade farewell to each other and by sheer coincidence, met the Ouendan teams - where till today... were close friends and would play Taiko no Tatsujin together during their spare time.

Why do I map so quickly? It's because I'm the sort of person who finishes my homework early and have absolutely nothing to do~ And also, I want the Taiko mod to get more attention, that's why I map Ouendan songs and Taiko authentic songs to get more people interested in playing... and hopefully, we'll get the Go-Go mode which I'm dying for... ><;;;;;

In the PS2 version Osakana Tengoku was classified as J-Pop, not Folk songs.

Osakana Tengoku was rather new when Taiko 1 for PS2 was released - so it goes under J-Pop. However, it's more of a song intended for children (telling them the benefits of eating fish) - therefore it is a Children song.
