I've tested the game to be run through Steam.

Yes, Steam's Community utility got integrated into the game, but I can't load it up because your Shift and Tab keys are pre-bound to the game. I'm requesting that there be a way to let the keyboard be at least a little free for chat integration programs like Steam Friends and XFire, also, without having to alt-tab out of the game.

AND DON'T SAY "PLAY THE GAME WINDOWED!"

I'm not sure how these apps work, but I do not have much control over the keyboard input handling directly. They *should* still be able to hook in and receive input for their own use as far as I can see, though. I'll keep this on the back-burner and address it based on how many requests there are for such functionality.
