How was anybody supposed to get this if you didn't spell all the words right...

There is no circumstance under which "begins" would be needed in that sentence. Just an fyi.

I still worked it out.

To be honest, I chanced upon the answer while trying something else out - initially I thought the letters of the alphabet that weren't used spelled a word.
