From the album Tommy, I give you Pinball Wizard. As far as I know, this is the first beatmap for this song. It's one of my favorite songs ofn the album. Also, this is my first beatmap. Plaease leave your comments so I can get better at beatmapping.

UPDATE: Fixed some timing issues and added more sounds.

UPDATE 2: Fixed a lot of things noted by Loginer. Also some spinners to shorten the long break.

Not bad, I must say. However, while this may just be me, the circles are too small. Also, the combos go on for quite long sometimes, try to aim for 6-7 at most. I haven't checked out timing, because I myself fail at it.
With some work, I'm sure this could become a good tribute to the Who's classic.

I'm afraid you'll have to spend a lot more time on this beatmap if you want it ranked. :/

First of all, the timing is clearly messed up. I'd fix it, but I just can't find the right BPM. I'm not sure if it's me failing, the song constantly switching BPM or osu! being buggy, though. Either way, ask one of the timing nazis on IRC for some help on that one.

There are also some serious grid-related problems in the beatmap. Take a look at 01:09:381 - 01:11:457. It should be a straight line with even spacing, but the 5 is too far up and the 8 is too far down and too close to the 7. There are tons of problems like these all over the beatmap, and from the looks of it, it's because you disabled grid snapping. Go to Options, and make sure Grid Snapping is enabled. Never disable it unless you're absolutely sure you know what you're doing. After that is done, go to View > Grid Level and choose Level 2 for a bit more freedom.

The next issue is the spacing. Most of the beats in your beatmap are spaced pretty randomly, and you keep stacking beats. To automate the spacing process, enable distance snap by clicking on the distance snap button on the right edge of the window. Once again, never disable it unless you're absolutely sure you know what you're doing. Now, after enabling both grid snapping and distance snap, go and shuffle around all the beats until everything looks right. Avoid beat stacking as much as you can.

Like Agent said, your combos are a bit long. Try to keep them between 4 and 8, and when the beats are several seconds away from each other, like at the beginning, make a new combo for each or every other beat.

There's also a bunch of other things you should work on. For example, try to insert some more sliders into the beatmap where you think they'd fit. Avoid long pauses such as the one between 02:10:944 and 02:28:778, as they can be pretty annoying. Finally, try to use a more varied mix of sound additions to give the beatmap a little more life.

Oh, and you'll need at least one more difficulty, preferably a harder one.

Thanks loginer, I'll get right* on it. As I said, this is my first beatmap. I will keep all of this in mind if I make another.

*Possibly once I beat EBA on Cruisin'.

Oh lord. I'd mod this, but the timing is waaaay off, and timing this will be hellish. Here's a temporary timing that can be mapped to/modded to an okay extent, but make sure you find someone good at timing before trying to get it ranked.
