My osu! Experience for anyone interested

Farmed top 50s for rank back in ppv1 for the first year of osu. Reached rank 1k but quickly dropped to rank 10k-15k because of ppv2. Tried to farm rank back up but failed miserably due to lacking frame performance on computer and ultimately quitting the game. I was around rank 8k at the time. After one year of quitting, IRL friends started playing the game leading to me wanting to play the game again. However, I did not want to login to see my "embarrassing" rank so I ended up playing offline from time to time. Beatmaps, skins, and such were all recommended to me by a friend whom seem to be "good" at the game. In my sixth year of osu, I finally found the courage to "play to get better" instead of "playing for ranks" when I first started. As a result, I'm now back online with a new and improved computer that enables me to play at a competitive rate.

List of mods that I can currently play

-No Mod: Average on all types of maps
-Hidden: Most preferable mod and undeniably my best/favorite mod for ar7+
-Hardrock: ~~Under-average. <5* maps only probably.~~ Average. Still working on it. Best played with HD.
-Double Time/Nightcore: Average. Used to play a lot to farm but not so much nowadays.
-Flashlight: Only played from memory. Sightread is a big no. Used for top 50 farming.
-Easy: ~~Currently~~ work in progress. Taking a break. Average to above-average(?)
-Halftime: Not enjoyable. Song sounds too out of place to play.
